I have the previous version of these shoes and LOVE them, so I ordered these. They are considerably narrower than the previous version - so much so, that they don't even feel like wide width. When I hold up the old shoe to the new shoe, they are about 1/2" narrower (the old ones look better too). The shoes seem like typical Clarks quality, which is great, but I'm sad they messed with the size. They took what I considered a perfect shoe and completely screwed it up.

The fit and size are great! I normally wear 11D, but my previous pair of these were 11.5D, so that's what I ordered this time. The new ones have been restyled, and I actually like the newer style better. They felt a little snug when I first put them on, but with about a day of break in, they are just as comfortable as my old ones.

I was looking for a "casual" dress shoe. I wanted support with a non-slip sole. I normally wear 13 EEE, and ordered these in 13W. Surprisingly, they fit very well. I also have a high instep, but there is enough stretch in the upper part that they go on smoothly. I am very happy with them.

These are quality shoes fit, finish, and comfort all excellent. I had a similar style that I was replacing, but these are a little dressier. Worn to wedding, 10 hours later still comfortable so virtually no break-in needed. Styling is a bit simple...you could call a "classic look". Don't like the light brown shoes all the guys are wearing.

The style is a bit more modern now, but a great shoe right out of the box.

A man with large size (17) foot here. Four days into owning this, the shoe is nicely broken in. The shoe runs a bit large, but the shoe still works for me. Let's see how it wears.

Beautiful shoes but they were one entire size too big. Had to return.

Just squeezed my foot. I know there is some adjustment, but a half size bigger would have been too long, but the width didn't feel like a "D" at all. Pretty shoe.

These ran a bit narrow so he reordered a wide and they were perfect.

Shoes were a little tight when i first put them on but after a day of wearing them they broke in quickly and beautifully. They look nice and are comfortable. No complaints here.

I love Clarks and these shoes are no exception! The styling is very cool! I usually wear them with business casual. They are really comfortable when just standing. However, when walking, they STILL rub aganst the back of my heel. As long as i wear bandaids to protect my heel, then they are comfy enough. The shoe is very light and the quality is outstanding!

Using the measurement guide provided by Zappos, my foot is the exact length of a size 14. So that's what I ordered. Trying it on, I could fit the width of a finger between my heel & the back of the shoe. That's about 3/4". How can the measurement be so far off? I give in. Every pair of loafers I've bought through this site, regardless of manufacturer, has the same result. So, like the others, this pair is going back. And I have no idea what size to get instead.

Unfortunately, Clarks manufacturing has gone downhill it seems. I had not one, but TWO defective pairs of these. There is a 1/4" rubber sole that started to separate from the rest of the shoe after only 4 days of wearing them. So, I had a replacement pair sent, and the same thing happened to them after only THREE days of wear! Zappos was awesome as usual at taking care of the returns, so 5 stars for them. But I will not be buying any Clarks shoes anymore, because for $160, I expect them to not fall apart within a week.

I ordered a 10 1/2, but, received a 10. The shoe box label shows size 10 1/2. There is a sticker on the soles of the shoes that shows 8 1/2. The size shown inside the shoe shows 10 - which is the actual size. I am returning them and asked if someone could verify the size before shipping a replacement order. I was told that Zappos policy is to do that only if there is a problem a second time! That is not going to happen with this customer.
