What a suprise! Firstly, when I took them out of the box, I was happily surprised by how glittery/sparkly the rose gold fabric is. The color is more of a champagne than rose gold, and is very neutral. I didn't expect a comfort shoe to look so attractive on my foot. I wear a 7-7.5 sandal and the 38 fit perfectly. The non skid heel is not clunky or stiff. The velcro straps are invisible and don't look tacky; they allow for a very customized fit on the foot. I had no slipping while walking and the cushion on the inner sole is heavenly. I wound up buying another color. They are comfortable out of the box which rarely happens.

Super cute and comfortable right out of the box. The textured denim color is a blue-silver so that makes these unique. Straps do take a couple of adjustments to customize the fit, but probably not more than regular buckles. Walking in them is springy and straps are soft, so although I've only done short walks with them on, I can see long distances covered without discomfort. Fit seems big to me - this maybe the difference in translating from European sizes to US sizes. I'm generally a 8.5/9 (40 according to Zappos chart for this shoe), but I ordered two sizes kept the 39 (US 8 according to chart) in this style. The front non-adjustable strap even fits my slightly wide foot, so if you have a super slim foot, these may not be optimum but give them a try (free returns - thanks Zappos!). Happy Summer!

This sandal is beautifully made. The footbed is thick and cushy, but not overly spongey. There's even padding right where the base of the toes meet the ball of the foot, so good support there. The various layers of the sole/footbed blend together seamlessly. The metallic leather on the straps is nice, too. My foot fits perfectly on the base of the sandal. The problem comes after you've cinched the velcro straps (buckles on the straps are for show only). Then they kind of flop and hang off the foot. You're very aware of the strap even though it isn't uncomfortable; it's just there. Perhaps this feeling would go away with wearing the sandal more, but it was a bit too much for me. I will look for other styles of Remonte/Rieker with the same heel/platform base. With another style strap it will be a winner.

I saw these beautiful sandals on a performer at a music concert and had the opportunity to ask her what they were. Thank you, Zappos, for having them and on sale, too! They are even prettier new (Hers were worn out!) They fit true to size and are okay on my slightly wide foot but would work even better on a narrower foot. I love the rose gold color and also that the buckle is fake- they actually Velcro so they are infinitely adjustable.

Wow, one of my absolute favorites!! They are sparkly and the perfect shoe for style and comfort!! I loved them so much last summer, I bought them again this year in the silver and the rose gold. What a wonderfully comfortable shoe. I have back pain if I do not wear a good supportive shoe but sometimes to get the support you do not also get the style. This shoe does both beautifully! This will be one purchase you will not regret!

I read remarks about needing to size up but it was a mistake for me. I absolutely love these shoes but am returning to exchange for smaller size. I wear a size 8 and feel they run true to size.

Bought these for my 17 year-old grand daughter. They fit her to a T, and she loves them!

These were just about the only shoes I wore at tail end of my pregnancy. Velcro? Check. Comfy? Check. Cool design? Check.

The most comfortable sandal that I have ever worn, no break in period. I love that the straps are Velcro rather than actual buckles. The shoes have a little bit of sparkle that makes them a bit more dressy.

Love the color, love the comfort, love the ease of adjusting the Velcro straps!

I order the beige and got the red. :-( Not a fan of Velcro straps either.

The sandal has so much sparkle..too funny as looked burlap on line. I picked the rose..picture is not accurate... And the sandal seems large both in length and the strap surrounding the heel area. Sending back...the blue in a smaller size looks tempting but I am afraid the heel will still feel too large.

This is a glitter material. I don't think it says that on the website. A casual shoe with glitter straps is just... WRONG.

I have ordered the tan color twice and they've sent me the red one both times! This shoe is not comfortable either.
