How does NB make a shoe with the left shoes tongue shorter than the right???? Not a very good walking shoe, the width was larger than it should’ve been

Felt clumsier than the previous pair of 928V3 that I purchased. Returned the shoes.

Something feels wrong with the toes. The sole is thick until the toes, and then it seems to get thinner while curling upwards so my toes aren't touching the ground. As my foot rolls forward, it sort of rolls downhill towards the thinner part of the soles, which is uncomfortable. It feels like my toes can't apply full force on the ground. I might be able to get used to it over time, but I'm worried that it might affect my non-shoe gait. I don't know what the designers were thinking. I've been wearing New Balance shoes for at least 35 years and have never encountered a shoe with this kind of problem before. I just want the same simple, black, all-leather walking shoe in extra wide width that I've been buying for many years. I'm returning these.

Ordered my normal size and sizing was way too large. While they would have been okay for work they looked bulky and unattractive on my feet. Returned.

New Balance never shipped my order. Their customer service was clueless on how to fix my simple straightforward sneaker order. New Balance lost a 25+ year customer.

I ordered size 10.5 and 6E width. That is extra wide. They were very narrow and hurt my foot.

Could not get a pair of 990's in my size (14 W) and preferred colors (black or navy blue). Thought I'd give these a try. Sadly, the fit is not the same, and I returned them.

This would be a great shoe if it wasn't for the ridiculous hard plastic chunk where there should be cushioning... who ever designed and approved this shoe should be fired. I even still have 2 new pairs of 990v4s waiting for use Ps I'm glad the 990v6 doesn't have that plastic ankle strap.

I'm a Security Officer at the WinStar World Casinos. Have been for over 14 years. Have been wearing New Balance for most of my time there. The old 411's and 623's were the best shoes I ever had. Then you changed them on the inside and I had to buy insoles which made them just OK. Now you don't even make them at all and I can't find shoes that work for me at all. I ordered the 928v3's in 10.5 4E while wearing 519 10.5 4E's. The 928v3 came in and were 10.5 6E and measured at least 2 inches longer than the 519's. Whoever is in charge of engineering and measurements needs to be much better educated in their respective jobs. Because they are not very good at this at all. You really need to go back to manufacturing the original 411's in black as they were the absolute favorite of all, especially Security Officers and all the other employees who work/worked at WinStar and many of the other casinos. I know this is a waste of my time telling you this but I speak for many others who are on their feet all week. Please, reconsider bringing back the original 411's and get your sizing corrected. Thank you.

Daily use on a farm with mud and muck. I like the fact there is a flat sole and not a lot of tread to pick up gunk.

These shoes are dangerously slippery in water we have to hold on to tables to walk through water.

I bought a pair of 928v3 a while ago. The right shoe cut into m y ankle so I had to wear a foam pad, which stuck out of the shoe and looked unsight.ly. Walking in them was fine with the foam pad in. Recently it was time to buy another pair. I had convinced myself that the first pair was unique, i.e., just a bad pair. When I received the second pair I had exactly the same problem, so I returned them. It was not just a bad pair but apparently a bad design.

I have never paid so much for a tennis shoe and been so disappointed. The tongue is way too short, if you lace the shoe through the top 2 holes which I always do the laces go under the tongue and it is very uncomfortable, very very poor design

I bought 3 different NB shoes to try each. This one turned out to be a great disappointment. My lower back is in pain days after one walk in this walking shoe. Tried it out in the house for a few days and seemed fine. On the concrete it was like no give in the soles. Rock hard! Even with orthotics no improvement.

I have foot issues so take this review with a grain of salt. These are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever bought. Within a week of wearing them, my feet, ankles, knees, and back were hurting. I bought new insoles and a heel lift which did no good for comfort. Hopefully they work better for you than me if you choose to buy them.

I ordered a wide and double checked to see if it was just a wide not anything bigger, but when I got it they were huge on me. I bought some from somewhere else. New Balance is not a bad brand either.

Right shoe is not watertight and lets water in. Get a wet sock every time.
