In other Danskos I wear size 40 (9.5), however, in this shoe I wear a 39. I like the Vibram sole and the overall style. I replace the insole with an orthotic to increase arch support and have to add padding under the top edge (vamp) to stop my foot sliding around. When all that is done, it is a well-fitting shoe. My only complaint is the suede. It does not wear well--would like to see this style in a smooth leather. PLEASE!

Since the original Dansko shoe know longer fits, I'm going with the Patti. A little slippage on the heel, but otherwise feels good. We'll see how it holds up at the barn!

This shoe has a nice style. I am accustomed to great arch support in the Dansko professional line, so was a bit disappointed in just a medium amount of arch support in this shoe. I retrieved the insoles from another pair of Dansko's and swapped them out. Also, the upper has more room than expected, and while my foot fits the footbed perfectly, there is a good bit of room between the top of my foot and the top of the shoe. I feel like my foot has too much room to move around. The toes are comfortable, though, and the soles are flexible, unlike the original rigid sole Dansko. Overall, I like the shoe, I just wish it fit more snugly around the top of my foot. But it may be the answer for those with high insteps.

I'm usually a 37.5 and I opted for size 38 which was too big. I'll try 37 next - they felt incredibly comfortable, sad they were too big!

Sweet shoe, but runs at least one size too long. Cute and attractive.

Nice looking shoe, toe box runs small. Unfortunately, they are being returned because of the fit.

I usually get a size 7 or 71/2 in most Got the 71/2 - 8 in these feels good and they are to slip up and down in back some

I wanted a pair of walking shoes and I can wear outside to exercise during our cold winter. I wanted a solid, unperforated upper that the wind would not whip through. In European sizing I normally wear size 37 or 38. Based on the many reviews that said to size up when ordering, I ordered my first pair in size 38. They were way too big. I returned them and ordered size 37. This pair was also top big. So, the third time was the charm. I ordered a pair in size 36 and now they fit beautifully. I have taken many walks wearing these shoes since i received them a few days ago and they truly feel great. Also, I wear custom orthotics, and a key element of these shoes is that I can remove the footbeds that came with them and replace them with my orthotics. Going into the winter, I think these will be a nice addition to help me get outside more.

I wear size 9/9.5 and ordered a size 40. It was so large that I could not keep them on my feet. I sent them back for a 39 and these were also too large. In the end, I went with Ecco (size 41). You might want to go down a full size when ordering these!

I went up a size and too big, went down a side and a tad bit too small, toe box is narrow compared to other Dansko’s which was surprising. Love the color.

This is my first pair of Danskos. I chose it for the moderate "rocker" style as I have a big toe that doesn't bend and I need to shoe to do the "push up" that my toe can't. My recommended size was 39 (8.5-9 American) and I find it a little roomy. This is fine as I swapped out the sock liner for a custom orthotic that is working well. My go-to shoe for many years was Merrill's Mocs, but they have gotten so unreliable sizewise, I felt I had to move on. This is a stiffer shoe though not an actual clog. The stiffness will take some getting used to and I may need to get a dr. scholls or something else to take up some of the extra room; however, I don't think I could go another size down.

Comfortable shoe but it slips off my heel. I wear an 8 medium, and the 38 fit well other than in the heel.

I was very disappointed in these shoes. They are SOOO comfortable but I must just be in between their sizing. I am usually a 7.5; the 37 was way too tight on my foot, so I ordered the 38 and they were way too big. Really wanted to love these, but will be returning both.

I agree with another user with these being an upgrade on the Celeste shoe. This runs a bit narrow in the toe box, is a bit stiffer than Celeste and the cushioning seems to have taken a step in a different direction but the bad thing is that I've tried 2 shoes now and the left foot on both squeak. Great shoe, but fits a bit snug I'll need to go up a 1/2 size so it doesn't rub on the ankle. Easy to walk around in and feel like you are wearing noting at all. I will try a 1/2 size larger so I can wear with my orthodics. If you want your shoes to always look new, you might want to go with another material than the nubuck as it shows marks.

My first impression of these shoes was that they seemed very narrow. Then I put my foot in and it was very tight. I normally wear a C width, and these were too tight across the toes. The insoles were very cushy, though, but they only come in one width. Have to send back.

Were a bit big, but thick socks should fix that. However, I decided I needed the black. Back to the order board.

I wanted to love these shoes. Unfortunately the 39 was too long and the 38 felt a bit tight. Also there was a small flaw on the sole. Back they go. Thanks, Zappos for being such a great shoe store! I have ordered a different style Dansko and a pair of Klogs. The great clog search continues.

I wear orthotics so I bought a size up. I love these shoes but they do not fit correctly so back they go. If my feet were not broken, I would wear them...they are comfortable and stylish.

They slipped off my heel when I walked so they went back. Sad, because I really liked the way they felt and looked but I could not walk in them when my heel kept slipping out.

I'm a size 7 usually. The 37 was swimming too big, the 36 was a good fit but just a little pinchy on my outer edge of my foot. Too bad.

Not enough room in the toe box, and too much volume in the body for my bony feet.

This was my first try with Dansko. I like the look of the shoe, but found it too wide around the ankle and arch. My foot slipped around in the shoe. I did read that the heel on Dansko is suppose to slip? I'm not sure if they are supposed to be this loose but it won't work for me, it would aggravate my plantar fasciitis. So, back they go and I guess I'll just hope my go to brand (Keen) bring back some of their discontinued styles..
