This is the first time I have tried a Dr. Martens boot because they are usually too heavy for me. But these were terrific! Really great for walking. I have narrow heels and wide forfoot and very high arches. Really difficult for me to find a comfortable boot. I had been looking for a lace up that would really fit well. I added a natural Birkenstock arch to mine because I wanted that extra arch support, but they do come with arch support insert that is adequate. Plus a fleece insert--very nice! Really nice quality leather and a super good deal!

Beautiful smooth leather. This boot has a wide squarish toebox with plenty of room. Soles are quite light for Dr. Martens. These boots come with 2 sets of insoles - one fuzzy (ala Uggs) and one smooth with arch support. Contrary to the photo, the sole appears quite flat in person (ie, not so much differentiation between the heel and the front of the sole) which leaves them looking a bit Frankenstein-y. The top of the boots is a bit stiff - may be hard to wear in for some. Made in Vietnam.

These would be insanely comfortable if the sizing were better (for me, anyway). Size 7 too short, size 8 was clown-shoe long. They are quite wide, which makes them bedroom-slipper comfy (plus the insoles are fantastic) but also gives them a certain Frankenstein quality, especially if you have to size up. Why oh why can't Dr Marten make half sizes?

These are listed as women's size 11, but are euro 43, WAY too large. Sending them back.

Great leather and not heavy. I normally wear a 9.5 B but they did not come in 9.5 so had to order a 10. They were at least one size too big and wide. Would not reorder these because of the width.

This was just about laugh out loud funny. I you want your feet to look really huge, order these. If not, stay away.
