I ordered these in navy and black. I wish they would make red, too! I wear an 9 or a 9.5 medium and bought a size 40 in these. They fit perfectly. I like that they are dressier than a sneaker but just as comfortable. I have Morton's neuroma's but the pitch is perfect. There is no pressure on the ball of my feet. So happy!

I was really looking forward to wearing these shoes, as I really liked the style and materials, and of course, Dansko's legendary quality construction. I first ordered these in a size 37, but upon receiving them, found that while they looked beautiful, my big toe rubbed against the toe box and the rest of my foot was uncomfortably stuffed in the front of the shoe while wearing very thin socks. So I exchanged them for a size 38, and I had the opposite problem -- there was plenty of room for my toes, but the rest of the shoe was too large in the heel and sides. But as usual, Zappos customer service was absolutely flawless, both with the exchanges/returns and with the great representative I talked with on the phone. Now it's back to searching for another pair of shoes for me.

Love these. I have plantar fasciitis and also go to many trade shows where we are walking on hard concrete all day. These will be my new go-to shoes. Sporty but not too casual for business.

Cute and comfortable. Normally wear a 40 in Dansko, fit in front toe area, but heal area very loose even with socks. Unfortunately have to send back. I am afraid the 39 will be too small in front toe area, so going to keep looking.

I got the black with white soles hoping for a versatile shoe to wear during pregnancy. This wasn't it. I've worn Danskos for years but these felt narrower than most. Probably would have stretched, but the styling was too casual verging on dumpy. Sent them back.

I am normally an 8.5 and I had to return the shoes for a full size lower. Zappos customer service was amazing! They sent me the new shoes in a day!

Loved the look of the shoe, but arch support was too far back forward the heal. Had to see back.

I generally wear a 37 in Dansko and this shoe is no exception. I considered sizing up so I could wear socks with these shoes, but decided to order my normal size and am glad that I did. There is enough room to accommodate light weight socks - I’m very pleased about that. I love the style and the comfort of this shoe. It’s still sandal season in my neck of the woods so I probably won’t wear these shoes regularly until this fall. It’s nice to have a new pair of Danskos to look forward to wearing!

Very well-made quality shoes

I LOVE THESE SHOES1 Fit perfectly, and SOOO comfortable right out of the box. Absolutely nothing to criticize.

Just got these and sadly they don’t fit. The heel is really loose and I walk right out of the shoes. Not sure if I should try the next size down. Going to try a heel pad and if that doesn’t work, these are going back. I haven’t had very good luck with Dansko shoes. I seem to be in between sizes.

This shoe was very comfortable and was almost a win for me--except that it was too tight for my big toe. The arch support and overall fit were great, and I liked the look of the shoe. It also seemed to fit my heel nicely. If only it had a larger toe box.

Of the three pair of black Dansko loafers that I ordered, this is the pair that fit best and offered more under the arch for my feet. When I was looking at the shoe I realized that had ordered and bought a pair of brown lace up booties with the same sole and general shape. So, I have a lot of confidence in these because I love the booties and wear them often. This shoe is a nice shape and good style that offers depth and comfort. I think I will wear them often in the next few years.

I have a narrow heel and my foot slipped in the heel part. I liked the style but did not work for me.

These shoes are true to size and are quite attractive for a comfortable walking shoe. The left shoe fit me perfectly, but the high arch in the right shoe hit me in the wrong spot and therefore was not comfortable, so I had to return them. I was so disappointed. I am now going to try the Munro traveler, which is not as attractive, but will perhaps fit me better.

Very comfortable. I like that I can wear socks with these shoes. Felt slightly big/loose in heels but overall true to size. I usually wear size 8 and purchased size 38.

Cute shoe but to wide. I have a narrow foot and unfortunately Dansco runs wide.

These shoes are beautiful, and very light as far as Danskos go. I used to wear Dansko clogs all the time, until a damaged peroneal nerve put me in sneakers. In the search for something a bit more formal, I thought I'd try these, as they are closer to the ground than clogs and thus I might not turn my ankle. Alas, as others mention, these shoes are incredibly tight across the instep if you have a high arch. My peroneal nerve was hit, and my foot and calf went numb. Really wish they had worked, as they are classic and sophisticated looking.

Ordered size I usually wear in Dansko but these were too tight accross the instep with my orthotics inserted. Sadly must return.

I really, really wanted to like these shoes. The style is very attractive and I wanted another pair of shoes to wear to work to trade off with my pair of Born Toby II shoes. I first tried a size 37, which fit like a glove on my foot with nylon knee-hi's. But as I walked around my house, I noticed that my big toes pressed against the side of the shoes and eventually became uncomfortable. It was even tighter when I wore the thicker knee-hi's I normally wear. The arch support was the firmest I'd ever encountered and that added to the uncomfortableness. So I exchanged them for a 38, hoping that would solve my problem. Well, my toes now had enough room, but now my heels flopped uncomfortably in and out and I had trouble keeping them on my feet even with thicker socks (which I don't plan on wearing in the summer). I will give Dansko props for the styling and the smooth interiors, but sadly, neither size worked for me. Zappos, as usual, gave me superb customer service all along the way with the exchanges and returns.

I ordered the 38 (7.5 - 8), my regular shoe size but these were at least a 1/2 size too big. Also, for the money, I would have thought the shoe would have had better cushioning all around the insert of the shoe. The minute I put them on, my foot was rubbing.. ouch. The edges are rough.. zero cushion. A trouser sock would work but I live in Florida, and don't wear socks with most shoes. I had to send them back.. too much $$$ otherwise.

These shoe look nice, but they are too heavy for me to walk with.
