Timbuk2 the tripper duffel bag is great. its construction is very durable and thick. I only have been using it for past 2-3 weeks and it seems like that it will last longer than other duffel bag that I have used in the past. the material seems to be thicker than my last Nike duffel bag. and also it would resist some water and stains easily as I am looking at it. the strap and shoulder pad is constructed very well and thoughtful. Pad has nice cushion for support and strap seems to be think and strong. The handle also looks very durable and comfortable for grabbing. I really like this bag except the size is way smaller than I expected. It is bit crowded to be every day gym going with pair of shoes and clothes and towel in it. I wish the bag was little bigger than it was. The design is good and the color is bit darker than I anticipated.. Perhaps, different color scheme might be better option. Otherwise, it is well made and well constructed for daily use. I highly recommend it and if there is bigger size, that will be perfect for my gym and daily use.

This bag is just understated without all the frills that can clash with your daily wardrobe. I love the detail of the stitching, its sturdiness, and it appears to have reflective stitching on the zipper pulls. NICE! Not many pockets but that's okay because everything I need fits nicely in its spacious interior and the convenient compartment underneath. Nice wide shoulder pad, COMFORTABLE. I don't feel weighed down during my commute.. I've received compliments on it already and it hasn't even been two weeks. I dropped a star only because side pockets didn't have zipper or snaps to close, otherwise, I'M A FAN!

first: it's timbuk2. need we say any thing more. used over the weekend, so here goes: Pros: like the color and the bright colored zipper. love the cross-over strap and the side grab handles the size is very good for weekend, over nighter & of course the gym liked the outside pockets Cons: not a big fan and never have been of the underside zipper compartment i found this one a little hard to use do to the size, same as the bag itself. seemed to have to tip the bag to use it, so make sure you have the bag closed or else things will fall out. could use at least one inside pocket-but it's not there But overall it's a very nicely constructed bag, for those quick trips. So for overall i'm giving it 4 stars and this is personal, the bottom zipper compartment, i just don't like it.

If you hate to travel with rollers, and can pack a few days worth of stuff in an easy to carry duffel the Tripper works nicely. The main compartment is pretty spartan, so don't expect a bunch of pockets or dividers inside. The grab handles are nice (but not padded) and the (pink) zipper pocket adds a great pop of color to the olive/black bag. Its also the right size for your huge phone and wallet. I like the grab handles on the front and back, so you can grab it from any direction. The only thing I don't like is that when the bag is empty, the material is not very stiff so the bag collapses. This is not a problem when the bag is full and it also makes it easy to stow away when not being used. If you just need a simple good looking duffel that is not too expensive or huge, the tripper is a good choice.

This bag is an ok duffle bag. It's extremely durable and easy to clean. I also like the bottom padded pocket where I can put my laptop The pad on the shoulder strap is useless. It provides not padding whatsoever and also always twists around. The bag also really needs more pockets either on the inside or outside secured with a zipper. There is one small zippered pocket in the front, but the rest are open and my stuff often falls out. Also, I wish the inside lining was not black. It's really hard to see my things inside my bag. A different color lining would be better. Finally, I don't know what issue Timbuk2 has with water bottle pockets, but Timbuk2's water bottle pockets terrible on every bag I've gotten or non-existent. I have a Timbuk2 backpack and the water bottle pocket on that is very flimsy and not very deep. The Tripper duffel bag supposedly has a water bottle pocket on each end, but they are very insecure and not deep, and my bottles have fallen out so much that I've given up on trying to use the pocket.

Use it as gym bag. Would like to have seen larger zippered pocket to hold my keys, phone, wallet. Also needs a better strap pad. Had to order one for the strap which I use to go to the gym and travel. No separate section for shoes no inside pockets. It has lots of room and looks great and sturdy.
