Great quality and very nice looking. My husband loves it!

I think I bought this bag in 2017. I use it daily. I stuff it with books and the computer and chargers etc. I don't baby it, it serves me quite well. Some of the wax coating on it has peeled off. Or maybe a cracked and I peeled it off myself a bit. But the fabric is not torn and doesn't seem to be fraying at all. It's very nice and comfortable wear. Sometimes. It's a bit of a black hole. I've lost a pencil or two and then found them later. But suddenly I find that I am in need of a bigger bag that will accommodate 12"x18". My current bag has served me so well, this is the first site I came to. I heavily consider buying my new bag from timbuk2.

Already traveling with the bag. Perfect size to carry all my gear.

I wanted a laptop bag that wasn't a backpack. This bag is perfect! It has all of the thoughtful compartments I need including a holder for my travel coffee mug. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I bought this bag for my husband. He LOVES it. I bought him a leather one a couple years ago, but he wanted a more casual bag for work. He loves the canvas.

Since my Timbuk2 is still new and I haven't traveled since I received it, I don't have a lot of experience with it yet. But, with that said, my initial evaluation is very positive when I compare it to my previous messenger bag. It is sturdier, and it has adequate pockets. And, my laptop fits snugly inside. I'm looking forward to using on my next business trip.

This is for daily work use. It is comfortable to wear and can carry a lot of items when needed. I have been very happy with this purchase.

About as good as a bag can be. I have a 2019 MacBook pro 16 inch, and it fits in the inside pocket along with the power supply, some headphones and a few other accessories.

Best laptop bag I've ever had. Every design detail makes accessing and organizing easier. Doesn't carry a lotthis is no overnight bagbut what it does carry, it does brilliantly.

I got the Eco Static for work. I love this bag for traveling. It easily slides onto or off of my rolling bag Extended handle which is so helpful in getting settled into my airplane seat quickly. The bag is so sturdy. I would like a few more small pockets but I am able to use small zipper pouches to fill this need. I have been a long time Timbuk2 fan having a messenger bag for more than 20 years!!

Excellent for work. Only suggestion is more interior pockets similar to the old messenger bags

I bought my first Timbuk2 bag in 2017-18. It became my favorite bag. I used it every single day. Then, an ex-girlfriend stole it in 2022. By that time, the 2017 version of the bag I loved was no longer in production -- they had added some design elements. But I loved my original bag. I called Timbuk2 and they helped me find apparently the last of the older version of the bag at their Venice store. I was so impressed. That's an outstanding company.

I have the jet black and wanted the brown.

I'm a typical tech sales person. I love this bag. I can't even go anywhere because of this pandemic but the deal was too good to pass up. Just having it for my 13 inch MacBook Pro and/or IPad Pro to go from my bedroom to my office with my Nespresso is worth it. In all seriousness I've been a Timbuk2 guy for a long time and the Velcro covers to avoid the Velcro sound was a great improvement. The water bottle holder holds one of those hydroflasks tightly. I wish they had more zippered compartments but otherwise it's perfect and the color in real life is MUCH better than even online. Don't go conservative on the black ...go for it and do you unless that's what you like. This bag is lit.

A much more modern look than my 10 year old Timbuk2 messenger. Great fit for my 13" MacBook Pro, love that the luggage handle pass through has a hidden zipper on the bottom to make it an extra pocket if necessary. Only a couple of pockets on the inside, but as I'm not a road warrior flying every week, what is included is perfect. Thanks for keeping the zippered pocket w/ the key latch. This bag holds its shape extremely well - very much recommended .

The closer laptop briefcase was a dream come True. We looked for a laptop bag that had multiple compartments for office supplies and everything you might need. The high quality material and the stylish appearance make this bag look like you Could be on a runway with the dependability of security in a bag that won't let you down.

I use this to carry a Mac air.

This is a wonderful, light but sturdy briefcase. I would definitely recommend it. I do wish it was one inch deeper or had a mechanism (zipper maybe) to expand the bag. I'm already testing the limits of how many files and items I can fit into the bag at once. This isn't so much a criticism, because the bag has fair dimensions, but more of a wish/request. Sometimes I don't carry lots of files, but as a teacher, sometimes I have lots of handouts and items to return to students and the bag doesn't easily accommodate them.

I am a fairly new attorney and I ordered this bag in anticipation of my first, week long, jury trial. This bag has been perfect for traveling to and from court. I have been carrying a laptop (13" MacBook Pro), binder, legal pads, snacks, and files in it. The laptop compartment is on the back of the bag which allows for easy access without having to unsnap the two front clips. Once of the greatest things about the bag to me is that it has enough structure that it will stand up on its own and hold its shape. The only negative comment that I have, which has been mentioned in other reviews, is that the spot for the water bottle is not very large. Given the size of the bag (I bought a medium), I do not think it would be appropriate to have a larger water bottle pocket (proportionally) but it definitely will not hold the standard Nalgene.

I use it everyday for work. Love the feel and quality of this bag. Only wish it had more smaller pockets inside and some holders for pens!!!!.

I received this bag as a gift to use day to day. It is functional, has great assortment of pockets to organize, and a secure laptop pouch. It is great to travel with as it fits under the airline seat. If I could make one suggestion, make a larger size that fits a 17" laptop.

I love this bag. I had been searching for months for the right one. The lifetime warranty did influence me to spent this much on a bag. Hopefully it lasts for years. I am confused by the Velcro straps under the flap. I assume they are to expand the flap? No real insight on the website.

I work in a rural area and need a bag that can take the abuse as it goes in and out of cars, offices, houses, etc. This bag protects my laptop gives me some space for other gear and so far held up fantastically. It looks professional but is not over the top in your face which is nice with where I go for patients. I also appreciate Timbuk2's commitment to quality products that are responsibly sourced and made.

I have only had the bag for about a week but can say this is a big upgrade from the standard laptop bag. First of all it looks good. Nice style and not bulky. It feels solidly made and I don't worry about potentially stuffing it full if i need too. Plenty of room for my laptop, accessories, portfolio, and paperwork. It's comfortable to carry in every position I've tried so far. I'm looking forward to many years of use. Hopefully this is the last work bag I ever buy. Nice work you all!
