This is about 2 pair of these boots. I got the pebble-grain black, and found them to be light, comfortable and supportive. I spent 8 hours teaching a class on the first day I wore them. On the other hand, the suede Elk version had thin leather that was stretching almost before my eyes; my foot was rolling out to the right just standing on my bedroom carpet. Not sure that hide is a good choice; they're going back. Haven't experienced any weather so can't comment on the waterproof qualities. So, good little boots but choose carefully.

The boot is very comfortable; however it runs very large. I had to go a full 1.5 sizes down to get a snug fit. 1 size down fit well but was a little loose. The boot looks great, not like an obvious rainboot, but functions as good as any waterproof boot. I still have not worn in snow to test the traction.

Blown away by how comfortable, sylish, and functional these boots are! I purchased them because I wanted some rain boots and now that I see them in person, they are the most stylish boots I own. Super comfortable. Great job!

As people had mentioned, I opted for a half size smaller. However, because my feet are differently-sized enough, the left boot was a little too tight, particularly with a thicker sock, which I anticipated I would use for the winter. That said, I ended up also trying on my regular size and that was too big, so I think it's worth trying for a half size smaller than you normally wear. Regardless of fit, however, I was not as excited about the style of the boot. I was looking to replace a Born brand Chelsea boot that had more of a shoe feel than boot; these Sorel boots are definitely a traditional boot -- they feel sturdy, durable, and waterproof but do not seem like a dressy as I had hoped. They are definitely worth trying if you are looking for more of a winter boot that you could probably wear to work and leisurely.

Very comfortable boot...didn’t love the color. I really wanted to love these shoes! Ended up returning...which is more about me than the quality of the boots.

Purchased this 2nd pair as I was happy with the prior boot in tan and wanted one in black.

My son has autism and loves comfortable clothes and shoes. I bought this boot for him because it doesn't have laces. He normally wears a 9, so I got the 8 1/2 based on other reviews. They run large, so it was a perfect fit. He couldn't get the smile off of his face.

Bought this boot for my husband and although they are a bit snug in the width due to his wide foot they fit perfectly. A great long lasting boot that's stylish enough for dress up and durable enough for work.

Nice boot! Stylish, comfortable and supportive. A good mix between a ‘dressy’ and ‘work boot’ look. Easy to get on/off.

Did what everyone else said and got a half size smaller--definitely the right call. They feel a little tight at first but break in well.

I’ve had these for about two weeks now. I really needed a waterproof pair of boots that I could wear to work. There are very comfortable! The leather is a bit stiff at first, but wear some good socks and all is well. I did take the advice of others and bought a full size smaller than normal and they fit me perfectly! Overall very satisfied!

I bought these boots for work and I really like them so I guess you could say they are working out. Very comfortable for all day wear. I've been wearing these everyday for about 5 months now and they seem to be holding up pretty well. Waterproofing works great in rain and puddles. Boots slid on and off easily. Downsides: Due to the one-way tread pattern, side-hill grip is compromised. A little loose but I'm ok with that and when I wear an extra set on socks on cold days, the extra room is appreciated. Sometimes my pant leg gets caught on the tab on the rear of the boots.

These were heavy, clunky, with very stiff leather, and stiff sole, and the tops of the boots were uncomfortable against my legs. Did not like them at all. I have other Sorel boots that I like very much. Those are a size 12, but even the 11.5 in these boots was huge on me, with lots of heel movement. Only good thing I can say is that I liked the color of the leather.
