I bought these boots for a trip to Milwaukee during the 2019 polar vortex calling for -50 windchills. I am regularly an 8 and the 8 fit well, even slightly roomy. I purchased Major/Black. The color is two-tone, sort of greenish and grey. I wore them every day, on the plane, with any color. I LOVE them. I have large calves and was worried that I would look short and stumpy, but nope. I would recommend them to anyone. I also tried the Joan of Arctic but these are slightly dressier and I can wear them more places and times.

I love the style of these boots. They fit well under a bootcut jean, or over the top of skinnies, and the foot is streamlined, so I don't feel like an elephant clomping around. It hasn't been cold enough yet that I can say they're good in all temperatures, but so far, they've kept me snug with just a thin wool sock at 20 degrees (F), and dry in melting snow at 40. There is one slight oddity in the fit, for me. The heel is downright roomy, and the positioning of the laces doesn't quite allow me to secure that part of my foot. As a result, I've experienced a bit of friction around my ankle, and I'm finding that the heel drags a bit, but I think the issue could be resolve with a thicker sock, and/or an ankle warmer.

These boots are very very cute. They fit well but are slightly narrow. The problem that I have is that they don’t keep my feet warm at all. My feet stay dry, but even with wool sock - my feet are absolutely frozen! I’m very disappointed.

This shoe is well made and well insulated. It wasn't comfortable on my particular feet. The toe area was too narrow and slightly crunched the top of my big toes while the heel was too loose. So, after hemming and hawing on which shoes to order for over a month and finally settling on these, I'm returning them. Back to the drawing board...

OBSESSED with these boots! They’re extremely comfortable, look great, and I’ve already gotten a ton of compliments on them. You won’t be disappointed!

Loved the way these looked but they are way too narrow for me. I even ordered a half size up, hoping for a slightly wider width, but no. So I have to send them back, sadly.

These are a little snug, but I expect that for a warm winter boot. I love the style, but the color was a little flat. I had hoped it would look a little more distressed, although wearing these out on our acreage, I’m sure they will look that way in no time! Definitely held up to their waterproof claim.

Love these boots ! I sized up a half size and they are perfect. After wearing a few times they do stretch a bit too so if a half size feels snug walk around in them a few days. Wore them to Colorado when it was about 5 degrees and they were super warm with only one pair of socks.

I noted other reviews mentioned the frustration with a loose back ankle area which provided no support. I have never had that problem before..but this was really frustrating for me. I ordered size 9 and then 8.5, tried all sorts of boot socks, and still felt that my ankle was swimming in the boot. The toe area was perfect but my ankle was slipping up and down. These boots are so well-made, and look so cute and un-clunky it was really hard to send them back.

Love that these stylish boots are Sorels! I sized up a half size because my foot is wide & wanted the option of adding extra socks...I also appreciate that they are leather...we currently have 3 feet of snow on the ground where I live...so I couldn’t be happier getting them now. Also, a shout out to Zappos for fast free delivery!

These shoes would be 5 stars if not for being slightly too narrow, and I don't have very wide feet. However, after wearing them for a few days they seem to have expanded slightly enough to make them good to go. These shoes were too cute to send back, so I'm glad I gave them a chance to break in a little bit.

I love the way these boots look, but because they seem to run pretty narrow, I was unable to determine how comfortable they are - and I don’t think ordering a 1/2 size up will help, since it’s truly the width, not the length causing the discomfort. Sad, since I really like how these boots look and the features!

Super comfy boots. Super warm and soft on the inside. I’ve walked all over Telluride in these and my feet never got tired. Great lug soles that work good on snow and ice. I wish they were a tad taller but I still love them. But don’t wear them through airport security. They definitely set off the scanners with all the metal and you’ll have to take them off even in the TSA Pre-check line.

I had ordered sorel a couple of years ago and they were huge on me, but I ordered my true size 8 1/2 this time and they fit perfect! I wore these to Iceland and encountered all weather. I waded in streams (sometimes accidentally falling in, tromped through snow and climbed up crests of volcanos, hikes over very rocky terrain, and hiked through very rainy gorges with streams. My feet never got wet and they were warm. Temperatures were in the 20’s and low thirties but I was literally out all day. I love the fit and low profile look of the boot. It’s not so clunky and also easy to hike up steep inclines and very rocky terrain! Couldn’t be happier! Just wondering how to maintain the appearance of the boot after putting it through the wringer!

I wear a 9 1/2 usually. I bought a size 10 as I usually do with boots. They are slim in the front, which is why I bought and love them. Wider in the heel. I have trouble finding boots that fit my legs. The lace up helps a lot! Larger boots always swim on me in the leg and ankle. These are FABULOUS!!! I own many pairs of Sorel boots and these are my favorite!!

Great looking boots from Sorel. I needed snow boots that didn’t look like “snow boots”. These work great when I’m worried about ice (good lug sole) but want to wear something other than my big clunky snow boots. SUPER warm, too!

Reviews were mixed about sizing up or down, so I went with my usual 7.5 and they are perfect! I got the black ones. I love the laces and that these don’t have a giant fur ball sticking out the top. Super comfortable too!

I love the look of these boots and the fact that they are waterproof leather. They are a great fusion of stylish and cute and practical for snowy weather. The fleecy lining is a bit thin, so they might not be super warm, but there is enough room for a warm sock or foot warmer. Love the lace up. Can wear with almost anything.

Love! Needed warm boots for cold muddy soccer tournaments. These at perfect. Kept my toes dry and warm all while looking cute!

These do the trick with respect to warmth, dryness, and ease when traversing icy surfaces. disappointed however that upon the first weekend I wore them some parts came unsewn - not what I'd expect at this price point.
