These shoes are perfect. My husband uses them as slippers because the leather is so soft and contrary to usual slippers, they give him necessary arch support.

These are really nice, really comfortable shoes! I was looking for a pair of black, casual loafers that I could wear with jeans and business casual chinos, and decided to try these. When I travel for work, I generally don't take a brand new pair of shoes just in case they aren't comfortable. However, I took these with me to San Francisco this past week where I was walking 0.9 miles between my hotel and the office, and these shoes were outstanding! They look very nice, and they feel wonderful. I couldn't be happier with them! They're a little pricey, but in this case, I think I got what I paid for! And, of course, Zappo's service was excellent!

This is the fourth pair of SAS shoes I have purchased. I'm overweight and have very flat feet, but I'm actually on my feet a great deal working in the marine industry on steel decks. SAS shoes are incredibly comfortable and supportive. The manufacturing quality is high, so while it's inevitable you get some sole wear, the body of the shoe stays together.
The Weekenders here are typical of SAS construction - good quality leather, comfortable ot put on and wear, and supportive of your foot. If, like me, you require custom orthotics in your shoes for your feet, that's no problem either. While the SAS insoles are of high quality, they are easily removable to put in another insole if you require.
Some people are turned off at the price of SAS shoes, but the fact is "you get what you pay for". If you go out and buy a $40 pair of shoes, then that's what you're going to get. If you want to spend more for a high quality American shoe, then you can do no better than these or any other SAS shoe. I am certain this will not be the last pair of SAS shoes I buy.

I could wear a very thin pair of socks with these, maybe run a tad small? But the leather will stretch a bit I’m sure as these are very soft

I have been wearing SAS shoes for almost 25 years. I wanted to buy a pair of slip-on shoes and I tried so many different brands. But this pair is so comfortable that I can wear it all day and have no problem I will also buy another color is this shoes.

These fit my husband right out of the box. Immediately he remarked how great the cushioning was and wore them the rest of the day. It’s soft leather upper allowed his foot to expand enough to hug his foot and not feel cramped.They are very well-made and worth the cost.

These shoes are the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever worn. I need slip-ons because of my bad back, but I find many slip-on shoes to be less than adequate for my needs. These are perfect. Also, Zappos policies are hard to beat. I don't buy my shoes anywhere else.
