I don't have the same reaction to these as the other reviewers. I have wide feet and very high arches, so I struggle to find comfortable shoes. These have been great straight out of the box and I just bought a second pair. They look like Mary Jane's.. Yes, they look a bit wide, but not terribly so. I was actually surprised being Medium that they fit so well. I wear these all day long.

I purchased these shoes for a cruise vacation to the Caribbean. As it turned out, the ship was delayed and I ended up wearing these in very cold weather in NYC as well as in the much warmer weather once we finally made it to the islands. I had not worn these prior to going on vacation and they rubbed the back of my heel but I wore socks to mitigate the rubbing and after a few excursions all was well. Perfect for miles of walking over both street and rougher terrain as well as activities like zip lining. I received many compliments on the color and style of the shoe (I purchased these in the purple) and will definitely recommend these to others. Thanks!

These are an extremely comfortable, supportive walking and action shoe. I wear them when I will be walking and active but also so cute I wear them for casual outings also. I had bought them for a cruise and they were perfect for sightseeing and excersions. The purple is really pretty and I bought a second pair, I also have a pair of the brown. They look very nice with leggings and a tunic.

I went with .5 size bigger just because I like to have a little bit more room for my toes. I love it. It has great support and it's light weight. The strap is in a perfect position that holds the shoes well when I walk. To me this position works better than some MJs that has the strap in the middle of the shoes. I have sensitive feet that need good support shoes. This one does the job and they are cute. My feet are happy.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have purchased. I am a walker and hate tennis shoes or what ever they are called nowadays -- These shoes are great for walking- comfortable and fit true to size - I have worn several types of walking shoes from Teva- these are my favorite!!!

I love these shoes- I love All my Teva & Ahnu shoes - so much that I wear Teva/Anhu shoes exclusively and recommend then to EVERYONE!
My only brands- enough styles and choices to complete my shoe wardrobe !
I would love to represent Teva/Ahnu in anyway I can!

I bought Teva sandals before but I need another one for every use for work. I found online something that could serve this purpose "; I do not have regrets. I have achy knees & walk abt 4 little blocks to work so this teva sandals is perfect for me :0)

These were supposed to be one of my Christmas presents and when they arrived I tried them on to make sure they fit. I couldn't take them off! So comfy and cute! So instead of wrapped up under the tree, they are on my feet! There is no arch support, but they still feel fine even though I wear custom orthotics. My orthotics fit nicely in these shoes but they are comfortable enough to wear without. They can be worn with socks or without and they go with most every casual outfit so this will be a year-round shoe for me.

I have a hard time finding a sneaker type shoe because of a foot problem. These are perfect. I am also diabetic so I need good support and width. However I did have to order a whole size larger for the toe box. I started with 1/2 size larger and it was too tight to my toes. So went to a whole size and they fit perfectly.

I spend half my time at a university and half doing field work in smaller streams. I bought these to wear around at the office/lab (closed toe!) and to use occasionally when wading through shallow streams. They are perfect for wearing around school - they are extremely comfortable, waterproof, and supportive. Though while wearing in streams, I found that the inside of the shoe would easily fill with rocks and sand, which is very uncomfortable and requires taking off the shoe entirely to empty it. I imagine they would be perfect in rocky, clear streams with less sediment (I live in South Louisiana). It might be important to also mention that these could require a bit of breaking in. They started rubbing on the back of my heels, but I broke them in after several wears. I order size 7 sandals, but 7.5 fit perfectly in this style. Overall, these are an awesome pair of practical shoes that I would highly recommend.

Love the look - shoes were fairly comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for two days in a row and ended up with blisters on the back of my heels the ankle straps - have to limit future wearing because of it.

Have several Tevas, especially for travel. Tan with turquoise accents is cute but would have preferred all parts to be tan. This way the shoe could look dressier or casual. The fit in the toe box was a bit tight but the width has relaxed a bit. Teva should lengthen the strap. Only the last 1" of Velcro strap connects. First 2" of Velcro do not attach. The exposed area catches on and snags clothing.

I have weak ankles, the sides of this shoe have no support, too soft.nor is there no insole support, no arch support. now I wear an ankle support sleeve, and a custom arch support this seems to help.

I really wanted these shoes to be it. I was looking for a light-weight, skid resistant sole for a trip involving walking in hot weather and on uneven surfaces. I own multiple Teva in the Shay model and was hopeful that these would work. They are definitely fun both in style and in the dark purple color (which BTW is a little bit more on the pink side). They did not, however, feel like they gave a lot of support and were too wide. In all fairness I have a size 6 narrow foot. For those who use an innersole, I was definitely easily able to insert my Superfeet innersole, which may be a great benefit to others considering the shoe. The other reviewer was right about the size, definitely order up at least a 1/2 size. Based on her advice I ordered two pairs — a 6 and a 6.5 and the 6.5 was barely okay. The Merrill Circuit MJ Breeze, even with its see-through mesh, was definitely a much more supportive shoe if you are looking for something similar.

I wear size 9 in women's sandals and have two pairs of Teva's that are the most comfortable shoes ever in size 9. These closed toed shoes are too small in a 9. My toes hit the end and my heels rub. I don't think a size up will cure the heel rub for me so I'm returning them. They are fairly cute and I wish they fit my foot as well as my sandals!

Unfortunately I returned. Great look for walking when you don't want a sneaker. However fit was off for my feet. I'll keep looking for the perfect casual shoe.
