I really wanted to like this pack. The fabric was super thick and seemed like it was going to be durable. It looked very well made. The hardware on it looks like it was good quality. It just seems like a well made bag. But I'm going to have to return it. It's way too bulky for me. I felt like that lady in the movie The Labyrinth who wears all her possessions on her back with it on. My daughter said I looked like someone who was going to blow up the airport. It was just too much. In the bag's defense, I am a 5'5" woman... but my 6'1" husband tried it on with pretty much the same result. If the look you're going for is literally strapping a suitcase to your back, then get this bag. Otherwise, I'd pass. With that being said, I would absolutely be open to trying other products from this brand. The quality was off the charts. It just wasn't my style.

This is a heavy duty travel pack that is primarily about maximizing space over style. The build quality is top notch so it can be banged around a bit without showing any wear. Heavy duty zippers will make sure you won't have any issues unzipping or zipping up a full bag. Keep in mind, this is essentially a duffel bag on your back so I wouldn't recommend it as a hiking pack. I use it for travel and find that the two huge compartments make getting at packed items a breeze. It's not at all uncomfortable to carry. The back and straps are well padded. I'm 6' and the Large fits me perfect. I'd say if you are shorter you might want to go with the regular sized Splitpack. The only negatives is the lack of bottle holder and proper laptop compartment but because I don't travel with either of those, it's not a priority for me. I can't stress enough how much space this pack has and could easily store up to two weeks of clothes and accessories. Get this pack if you're not worried about style and value space with practicality.
