I love these jeans, but beware tall ladies, they're just a bit too short. I'm 5'11 155 and ordered the 31. They're about an inch above where they should land. They would be lovely for anyone 5'9 and under or a little bit more torso than leg. Too bad!

I tried on a lot of high waisted jeans and ended up keeping these. I wish they weren't so expensive, but they were the most comfortable and flattering. The only thing I miss are front pockets, but they at least have back ones.

Love the JBrand Maria fit! I found low waist gave you a "pooch" and high waist is more flattering. These are not too tight in the waist and pockets in back are flattering. I now have them in blue, gray and black. Worth the money considering how much wear you get from them. For reference I am 5'9" and 120 lbs and wear a size 26.

I love these jeans and they are my second pair. Got the gray also. I do tend to yank them up some, but I love the high rise and how well they fit, so narrow at the ankle which I love. They are expensive, but it's hard to find jeans that are high rise and look and fit like these.

I love these jeans. Meets all my desires: just a little more than ankle length, snug fit, comfortable so comfortable and soft and a higher waist which can be hard to find. I am 5'5" and weigh 148 lbs and got a size 32

I'm 5'9" and a little curvy. I discovered the J Brand Maria High-Rise jeans last year and they fit my body like a glove - they are all I buy now. However this particular pair stretches out so much that after wearing them for a day they were seriously a whole size larger. If you are going to buy, definitely order one size smaller to account for the stretch. The material is really nice and soft.
