Ordering another pair!!

Prior to transferring to FL I purchased 12 pairs of Darwyn Fisherman. This was an older design that allowed, with some modification the the two forward straps to float with foot movement. Recently I was diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy, gout, and hammer toes. After searching for over a year and wasting many thousands of dollars , I went back to my old faithful Darwyn Fisherman. A simple cutting of the the thread holding the straps and replacing the figure 8 elastic with circular elastic, I have the most comfortable footwear I have ever owned. I do get some comments at formal gatherings. But as they say "If they can't take a joke .............

I purchased this for my nine-year-old nephew who wears an 8. These were the least expensive leather fisherman sandal I could find. The style and quality are good. The color in person is not quite as dark as it appears on the screen.

As others have said, they are comfortable right out of the box. Really like the style because they are casual sandals that look good covering my old man's feet, lol.

This was differently a full-size smaller for me. Width was fine.

Ordered these sandals to replace ten year old Rockport fisherman sandals of the same size, 10.5/EE, and similar design; the new sandals were too tight and would have ordered a size eleven but for the outsoles which appear to be plastic and are extremely slippery on carpet and wood flooring.

Love these classic shoes but a little tight. Need to break in.

Covered toe sandals in this style seem hard yo find, other pairs I've bought and liked ceased to exist. These looked great, but were to small and tight, I've never worn anything but size 12 as an adult, and I had to exchange these twice (for a 13, then a 13 wide). Now that they fit, they're pretty nice, hopefully they'll still exist if I want another pair.

This is my second pair of these sandals. The first pair fell apart after three summers. The side panel towards the rear came loose from the foot pad. They were comfortable if not that well-made. So I purchased them again when the originals we’re no longer usable. The new ones were the same size but the fit was much tighter. I didn’t want to bother returning them because I needed them at the moment. My assumption is they will stretch. But they are not precisely the same size as the first pair. And that means they are less comfortable, at least for the moment.

The sandal seemed well made. But one of the slits was positioned such that it would snag my little toe on almost every step. Not sure if that’s on my foot or on the shoe, but I had to return it. Haven’t had that issue with other sandals.

My husband wears almost always, size 10. I ordered 10.5 and it was way too small. I don't even know if 11 would have worked. Decided not to chance it.

I was worried that they were a little tight, but they felt a lot better the 2nd wearing and improve with each wearing since.

Nice looking shoe, good price, fit great, nice support, but my little toe would get stuck between strips and was uncomfortably painful. Hated to return them. Not sure if it is a design flaw or if it is a foot flaw. Return process easy and quick.
