I followed the size chart and the 8 was perfect. The material is soft and stretchy but looks like real denim not leggings. The legs are straight not skinny. If you're looking for skinny jeans, this isn't it. Great for curvy girls. I am scratching my head as to why the other reviewer ordered 23 pairs of this jean when she did not like the fit? What's up with that.

This is the 3rd pair of FDJ Black Suzanne Slim Leg jeans that ARE NOT SLIM LEG!!! They are a full two inches wider around the ankle than the properly marked Slim Leg. I ordered the the first 23 pairs from Amazon ( who punched out to ZAPPOS) and they were marked slim leg but were the orginal Suzanne STRAIGHT leg. I called Zappos and asked if they 'pick' merchandise from a separate warehouse so thought I might get the right pants. SAME ISSUE! Will somebody alert the manufacturer that they have an entire batch of Black Suzanne jeans labeled incorrectly? Jeez...I cannot be the only one who noticed...it's real obvious.
