I bought these for a 17 day trip to Europe. It's rare for me to wear shoes all day without pain. I have high arches, a high instep and very wide feet. These were perfect. They are comfortable but still provide good support. They have become my "go to" shoes.

This is my new favorite shoe, and I have bought 3 different colors. The style is very attractive and very comfortable. I have feet that are wide at the toe(bunions)and narrow in the ankles, and the velcro strap in the back plus the tie in the front can make the fit perfect! I also wear a 3/8 inch heel lift which fits perfectly under the removable insole, and it stays in place. The shoes have just a little extra room in the length so there is no need to go a size up. I ordered the wide width because of my toes and the fit is perfect.

These are a wonderful design. They accommodate my custom orthotics but don't look like a dorky shoe. The laces and velcro strap make them infinitely adjustable and they look like shoes I would have bought before I had to limit myself to shoes that accommodate my big awkward orthotics. Finally, a pair of stylish shoes that I don't have to cheat to wear.

When I first put this sandal on, I thought I had stepped on a supportive pillow. Wore all day and had no bunion pain or achy feet. I liked shoe so much I bought them in a second color.

I wear orthotics, so I tried these because of the removable insole. Even without the insole, at the heel, my orthotic is higher than the level of the edge of the shoe. It stays put, but it is visible from the back. Also, in the brown color, the sole is white, so that my black orthotic was really obvious. The grey has a black sole, which works better. Both pairs I tried squeaked.

Very comfortable, soft shoes with removable insole so that you can insert your own orthotic. I normally wear a size 10, but these were so long than my toes did not even show out the end of the shoe! The width was great, but the ankle strap was a little long / loose. It is minimally adjustable, but if I reorder a size smaller, I may still have to take them to my trusty shoe store and have the strap shortened.

After reading all the reviews saying how comfortable this foot bed is, I thought I had found the perfect shoe. Alas, this is one of the most uncomfortable footbeds ever. There is a very hard raised bump that fits perfectly under your heel. If you have plantar fasciitis, this will send you over the deep end! The pain!! I have NO idea what Propet is thinking, placing this incredible hard knob in the heel center. With the exception of the horrific footbed, this shoe is a dream for those of us with wide feet..the laces can loosen or tighten over the arch area..the heel fits my narrow heel well. Sadly, very sadly, these are going back.

I ordered two sizes to compare as I do have wide feet, 11W and 11 2E (extra wide). For some reason, the 2E was like an extra inch and a half longer, and not much wider. There was a very large amount of shoe showing beyond my toes. The regular 11W would have been wide enough, but there is an issue with the styling. I assumed from the lacing that the tongue would be adjustable. Technically it is, but it is stitched to one side, so if you do adjust the lacing for width, the tongue will appear lopsided and you'll have your feet showing through the straps. The footsole seemed very comfortable, and I do like the styling. Disappointed that these weren't the summer shoe for me!

So Comfortable. Fit is perfect and they provide just the right amount of support.

These shoes solved a number of problems for me. They are very comfortable, soft and adjustable in terms of a great fit. My feet perspire a lot, and this open style is perfect. My orthotics fit perfectly into the shoe bed although I had to shave the orthotic toe just a bit. I found that the Velcro at back tends not to hold together unless the two pieces are fully meshed with no adjustment; I realized that with the orthotics this was good anyway in that it made both my heels fit fully back into the orthotic heel cup. The Velcro did begin to tear off on one shoe but I sewed it together on my sewing machine just fine.

Fabulous shoe. I have them on right now. If you have any problem with your feet these are for you.......... totally adjustable. I wore them right out of the box........ no break in period. I will purchase them soon in the brown. they are a tad long but so comfortable it is not a problem unless you must have your foot touch the back edge. I think going down a size would not work for me. The comfort is amazing. They are my new go to shoe. I ordered my normal size 8 1/2 W. Plenty of toe spread room and that extra room in the back. Buy them if you need plenty of shoe adjustments. Love love love. Very stylish for such a comfortable sandal. I have worn these with dresses, pants, and shorts...looks and more importantly felt great with all.

Finally a pair of nice looking sandals that I can wear with my huge bunions and flat feet. Can't wait to rock these in Europe.

I love these sandals! I tried several pairs and you can't beat these for price, durability, stability, and flexibility of fit. First off, lets talk price point for removable insert sandals. Anything under $100 = A+. I have had them for a year and they barely show any wear. I have worn them to the beach, work, travel, hiking, camping, gardening, and they look almost new. Due to bunions, foot surgery, and arthritic knees, there are very few shoes, much less sandals, that I can wear for long periods of time with absolutely no pain and consistent stability. The removable insert allows me to replace it with my orthotic insert. There is velcro on the shoe so you could put some velcro on the insert. I haven't and it doesn't slip. The leather plate upper covers up surgery scars and a bunion but keeps my toes aerated. The laces and velcro heel strap allows me to adjust the fit, depending on how long I've been on my feet. They do run a bit long and I got a Wide so my toes had room to spread a bit. Sure, they're a bit chunky and some have said "Masculine" but I like them. They look "Classical" to me. If you are more concerned about price, durability, stability, and flexibility of fit, these are the sandals for you!

Clunky shoes that are way larger than marked. My friend who ussually wears a 9.5 in sandles tried the 7.5 I ordered on and they would have fit her.

This has been the best pair of shoes ever. I wore my black ones every day all summer. They look great with pants, and capris. They have good support and cover much of the foot while leaving toes out. Today I started wearing my reserve pair, and tonight I'm going to order 2 pair for next summer.

Just received this and tried on, so comfortable and attractive. Loved it but had to return because the size 11D I ordered was a half inch longer. So am asking for a size 10D replacement. 5star rating from me.

I have been wearing Ghillie Walkers for years because of their style and comfort. When I first saw that the solid back had been replaced by a slingback I was afraid they wouldn't have enough support. When I tried them on the right shoe was too loose as usually happens with me, but I was able to adjust the velcro strip on the slingback and the shoe fits better than my old ones. They are so comfortable because of the softness of the material.

This is the most comfortable shoe I have tried on in ages. Unfortunately, while I normally wear a 9 W, even the 8.5 2E 2was too big. am hoping the 8 2E will fit.

I have very strange feet, different sizes and widths. Because these lace I can adjust them to fit both of them,and at a great price!

Very comfortable. Great walking sandal. removable insole is a nice feature for cleaning or to accommodate an orthotic. Runs long, I usually wear a 9 and the 8.5 is perfect. I bought the wide width which fits perfectly. It is a little adjustable both on the sides and across the back.

Very comfortable sandals. I have been wearing them a lot since I got them and like them a lot. They offer good support below the arch and by wrapping around the whole feet. Someone asked a question about the flap rubbing hammer toes. The first day I tried on the sandals the flap did rub my toes, but I bent the flap back and forth a few times and that solved the problem.

As the others have said, this shoe is a bit masculine but I was willing to sacrifice that for the possibility of being able to lace up and velcro in my size 6 narrow foot. (I ordered 6M as they don't come in a narrow.) It's a comfortable, well-built sandal but it is for someone with a medium sized width. In case it matters to you, there are indentations at the very top of the sole where your toes are supposed to go. Mine did not line up correctly with those markings. Perhaps these would have flattened out by the pressure of my toes with time but, at least initially, that did not feel comfortable on my toes. Hope these are the ones for you!

I love these shoes! The gray color is very stylish and can be a bit dressy or casual. The fit is excellent. I am wide at the toe (bunions) and narrow in the heel, and the velcro heel strap plus the front laces make the shoes fit perfectly. I ordered a wide width due to my toes. I also wear a 3/8 inch heel lift, and it fits perfectly under the removable insole. There is no need to go a size up because there is just a little extra length to this shoe. I also bought these shoes in black and dark brown. The black ones look great with black dress pants.
