I got these. The next day I embarked on a 33 mile back country hike over three days. They Didn't require break in . Very comfortable and supportive right out of the box. I was nervous about it but my feet never hurt. No blisters. Very grippy soles. Worth the money.

I'm on my second pair of these. The first pair became my go-to shoes, and I wore them hard until my wife demanded I throw them out. (!) I bought myself another pair immediately. I haven't experienced any of the noise issues that other reviewers have described. I have wide feet, and the EE provides all the width I need.

Easy to break in, sturdy and comfortable hiking boots. Good traction on rock and solid for up and downhill.

Love Danner Boots and these are no exception. These are super light and feel very comfortable. Can't wait to get some use out these this fall

When I first bought them I wore them in the office and my feel got a bit sore just wearing them. But they soon wore in and I can wear them all day now. I had been looking for light weight hiking shoes that I could wear everyday but would protect my toes from stubbing and wouldn’t give me blisters. These fit the bill. I’ve worn them up to 13 miles without issues. People give me compliments on them sometimes. Only small thing is that when I walk on indoor surfaces or even concrete, they squeak. I can’t quite figure out if it’s the rubber sole or something more interior.

Excellent and very comfortable shoes! Perfect for inbetween a tennis shoe and a hiking shoe. I am a very severe over pronator and these shoes along with arch support feel great for my ankle. Waterproof too. Bought another pair I like them so well.

Comfortable. Look great. Leather on the thin side. Time will tell if they hold up.

Fantastic shoes albeit a bit stiff. You can tell they were originally designed to be a boot. There was some heel slip issues and the overall fit was pretty stiff. I thought the waterproofing was a bit on the warm side but that’s just me. Results may vary. I think the boot version would be fantastic over the shoe version.

Sized down 1/2 from usual sneaker size, but people with large volume, or wide feet may get away with TTS. Very comfortable, and durable-feeling shoe. Wore it the first time on a snowy 7-day trip and they held up great. A little wetness came through, but they did an overall good job of keeping my feet dry. I did a lot of walking and standing during my travels, and they were very comfortable. Very happy with my purchase so far.

These have to be the most aggravating pair of shoes I have every owned and I daily regret buying them. The lacing system for starters is a PIA. The top "eyelet" loops are located way off to the side so it is hard to pull the laces up tight. And, if you try to grasp the next down "loop" of laces, you usually pull the top laces out of their eyelets. I replaced the too-long flat laces with some round boot laces I had so I could grasp them and pull on them to tight the laces. Forget the red laces that came with the shoes. Maybe they're okay if you're into being cutesy and stylish. The tan ones were better but still a pain. Hence, changing the laces out altogether. These are definitely not trail boots/shoes IMHO. They're okay around town and they're comfortable enough if the lacings would just stay tight. The soles have excellent traction, particularly on ice and snow. I have a pair of Danner Trailhead boots and they are outstanding in every way and the reason I bought these. I do not recommend them.
