I take a 2XL
The Hood comes down to my nose.
What sample group of male head size did they use to make the hood so large?

I love everything about it.. The color (monster blue) is awesome. The texture of the fabric looks and feels like high class. The price of $90 is actually a bargain, in my humble opinion. The sizing seems true to fit and what it should be. The only issue I had was the "feel" when the zipper is not fully zipped up. The mock colar opens wide that it felt weird to me. I dont know how to describe correctly but it looks like you have two mouse pads that forms a "V" shape under your face. Looks fantastic when fully zipped though. Long story short, I returned the item but bought the Venture model from one of their authorized dealers (TNF CS recommended the site) because the color I wanted was out of stock. The Venture performed so so so well I decided to buy another one, it was that impressive. By the way, I use this as an outer shell when I snowboard. I dont like those thick snowboarding jackets. I hope this helps anybody who is still shopping.

I was aware initially that this item was a rain coat. I guess I SC hold have read the description. I husband loves it anyway.

Great color combination of navy and yellow. Makes me feel like the skipper of an America's Cup yacht. The fit is comfortable. My only wish was that it was longer.

this is a nice jacket a little lighter than I thought but keeps the rain off nice.

Ordered the resolve jacket. The only issues are the light colored collar that will easily get dirty. Also, the Velcro tabs that catch and pull on the inner lining and fuzzy collar mentioned in the previous sentence.

I recently ordered this and glad I did. It is good for wind, rain, I honestly think it's good all year long. Except summer of course lol. When the winter comes all I have to do is put my north face fleece underneath and I'll be fine.

Solid jacket for early spring weather. Very comfortable and lightweight.Only issue is when the jacket is zipped up it all the way it can be a little uncomfortable but a very good jacket for the price.

This is a lightweight shell that is waterproof. The jacket could use more small pockets, as there are only the two hand pockets. Also, the fit is unstructured and a bit baggy. Not anything close to a "midweight" jacket.

The jacket is well-built in a great color with 2 pockets. The hood is much too big and covers all of my face. This is extremely problematic when hiking, riding, or driving. I tried the two hood adjustments and they don't stay tight or shorten the length. The jacket is not very breathable which increases warmth while eliminating it as a hot-weather rain jacket.

This jacket was odd-fitting on my son. The arms were too long but the jacket itself was too short. It’s too bad because we have had other Resolve jackets in the past and loved them but they were children’s sizes and maybe there is just something different about the adult cut (which fit my husband the same way it fit my son.)

I got a size medium and it's pretty tight around the chest. I'm 175lb and 5-10"
The inner pocket rip in first week use. Got it repaired for free, but had to pay for shipping.

I would buy again. It fits true to size and length. Not as warm as I thought it would be for the weather. Needs more ventilation for cold weather and rainy weather.

Fit true to size, however the British Khaki is way more brown than the pic. Returned for Tin Grey and am a happy camper. Great jacket, I have 2 of them.

Overall I'd still shop at Northface because the brand is great and costs are great. I'm particular, this jacket was very thin for my 14 year old son. He was sick in two days, and that's with a heavy sweater under and 60 degree weather. Zipper keeps coming up from the bottom when you try to zip.

This is a great jacket for someone that doesn't mind if they cannog tighten the jacket around their wrists, likes mesh inner material, and The North Face. I personally like this jacket but it is far inferior to the Venture 2 imo. I wish DXL would carry the Venture 2 again. They are the only place that carries over a 3xl in The North Face.
