I have had these slippers before and have tried several other brands since but come back to Old Friend. For the price, quality and ability to hold up they can not be beat. I have had Uggs (no arch support and thin or hard soles), Minnetonka, Haflinger as well as several other brands but have not found as good as slipper as this. Good, sturdy yet flexible sole, can wear indoor and out, good support and warm. Over the 7+ years I have been buying them, the quality or how they are made has changed some but I can not find anything better to suit my preferences. I work from home and wear them a lot, in and out of the home so they get used more than my shoes since I actually switch out and don't wear the same shoe every day and each pair I have owned have lasted 1+ years. My feet are comfortable, it's like wearing a Merrell clog but in a slipper form. I usually order a 9 but this time the 9 was too short in the foot bed so returning for a 10 as they don't offer 1/2 sizes. I am used to the initial snug fit with the shearling lining but they loosen up in time. However, if the foot bed is too short the loosening will not help that. Highly recommend. My husband's preference is this brand as well and he has tried many slippers in the past as well.

I love love love these slippers. I can get the dogs out, feed the cats, water the plants, and they are great. One caveat, tho- two years ago, I ordered size 8, and they were great. Last year, I had to return the 8, and get a size 9. This year, I suffered with the size 9, and am giving these to goodwill (coz I've tried to make them work for several months) and re-ordering a 10. Fingers crossed! Hopefully the 10 will do it! Are these shoes getting smaller each year, or have my feet grown. . . At the age of 62?!?!??

These run a full two sizes small... I normally wear an 8 and even the 9 was too tight to wear. In addition to that, it didn't have ankle coverage (to keep my ankles warm)... this is more of a clog than a shoe.

I have been on a quest to find a pair of comfy and warm winter slippers that have a stiff and supportive footbed and sole. These looked great, and they fit all my criteria, but my usual size 8 was just a tad too short but no size 9 was available to try out. So I had to send them back. A shame, because they were otherwise what I wanted.

I'm a long time Old Friend owner. Wanted to try this style, and I should have taken heed from others comments... It does run short. I'm exchanging for next full size.. and hope it works out. Love the Old friend slippers overall.

I read the reviews so I ordered a larger size. I normally wear a 8.5 or 9 but I ordered a 10. Length and width worked. These shoes are so lush with the Sherpa lining you can’t and don’t need to wear socks. Those things I didn’t mind but not enough arch support so my foot kept slipping forward.

I have had several pairs of the moccasin type Old Friend slippers and loved them. These were a new style for me and I read the reviews before I ordered them. Review said they run small and to order a full size larger, so I ordered a size 9 when I would normally get an 8. I could not even get my foot into the size 9. I am sending them back.

Beautiful slipper; soft and cozy which was just what I was hoping it would be. That being said, it ran extremely short. A whole size short. So I am returning it for the next size up.

SO bummed to return these! I've been trying to find winter slippers, these looked promising, but alas, the fit is too far off for my feet. I tried a size 11 (my normal size) and found them way too short - my toes were scratching at the ends of the shoes. I also tried size 12 - just in case - and while the length was better, the 12s were significantly wider (too wide for me) than the 11s. Size wise, I maybe could've worn the 12s with heavy socks but for me that's not really the point of buying shearling. The arches were also a little off for my. feet so it was a sad but easy decision to return. On the positive side: the soles seemed sturdy and perfect for indoor/outdoor use - just what I need!

I loved these slippers. I ordered them in a 10 because there are no half sizes and from what other people said, they ran a little small. The 10 was too big but they were so attractive and seemed really comfortable. They have a lot of support and a neat kind of bouncy sole. So I returned them and ordered them in a 9. Unfortunately the 9 was too small. These are fairly expensive for slippers and in any case I want slippers to fit just right. Maybe in less constructed slippers precise sizing isn't necessary but the beauty of these is that they are really made to fit your foot. If they do, that is. If they fit you, you'll love them. I don't know why they don't offer half sizes. So disappointed.

These slippers/shoes feel good and work for wearing everyday around the house/outside for mail pickup, etc. They are a replacement pair from my previous Merrell slides which are no longer made with real sheepskin. The sizing for Old Friend Snowbird II is way off: I am a perfect 8 1/2, but had to order a size 10!!! Also, they are quite wide for my slightly narrow feet, but that's ok because I wear hiking sock with them., 2

The lining was like heaven on my feet. Unfortunately, the sole was too short which cramped my toes. I will order the next size up, but fear it might be too long. Shame they don't come in 1/2 sizes.

I ordered a pair of these slippers, but needed to order up a size. I got the size that fit, and the left slipper was defective as it was turned out. So i gave up and ordered UGG slippers and am happy that I did.

Didn't care for these slippers, as the foot bed was too hard and not plush enough. Felt short as well.

Way way too short. I wear a size 11 and after reading the reviews, I ordered a 12. I really really wanted these slippers to fit! They are attractive, felt really snuggly soft as I slipped my foot in, and they felt super sturdy. I was so excited! Then I started walking and they unmercifully pinched my toes so badly I had to quickly get out of them. So sad. I can’t even order a bigger size??.

I really wanted to like these. I had to order a full size up, but even then, my toes (ok I have long toes) were hitting the front of the foot bed and made them hurt so bad after wearing them all day. It's going to take them a few days to quit hurting I think. I will be searching for another pair of slippers.

No arch support and ran snug. Prefer Vionics in the end.

These slippers are great if you need arch support. I got a 9 for my daughter and tried them on and was surprised they fit my 7.5 wide foot perfectly, so they are small perhaps because of the furry lining? I went back and ordered her a size larger and they fit, so for comfort they are great, just order a size bigger

As everyone says these run very small. I returned them rather than ordering a larger size because the soles are very thick, with higher heels, like outdoor shoes. I prefer a soft-soled slipper, I do not want to clomp around the house. I got LL Bean mocs instead and am happy with that.

As everyone says these run small, I am usually a 10 and this was far too snug. They do look nice. But what made me return them rather than exchange them is that the soles are hugely thick, the heels are like 1" . It's bizarre, like an outdoor clog rather than a slipper. I want to just pad around my apartment, when I need to go outside I'll put some damn shoes on. Returning and I'm gonna get LL Bean mocs instead -- I hate their style but I want actual slippers not outdoor shoes.

I am returning these b/c I am looking for a comfortable slipper, but this is more like a shoe. Also, I had read the reviews that said to order a size larger, and it's a good thing I did, b/c I needed the size 9 for my size 8 foot.

These are the most comfortable shoes/slippers I have ever worn! It says slippers but with the rubber sole & stylish looks, these are easily paired with jeans or anything else. I love love love these!! Highly recommended!

I loved the shoe but the next size down is sold out. The suede is high quality and the real sheepskin lining, including the footbed, is super cozy. Wish the size had been right. Sad to be returning them. And the company is in the US!

These slippers are very comfortable and provide excellent arch support. They do run small, I had to go up one size.

I loved these slippers but they only come in whole sizes. Since several reviews reported that they run a little small, I went from my usual 9.5 to 10. But they were just a tiny bit too large, probably not large enough such that I could go down to a 9. So disappointed . . . They are absolutely great looking and apart from slipping around a little, they felt incredibly good.
