I needed shoes with a stiffer more rugged sole as I have pronation issues and these worked great. I am a big man at 6’7” and 360lbs I kill shoes pretty quickly. These boots are holding up well. The only real issue I have is the laces are too long. Lol overall great boot. Especially for the money.

This was my 1st pair of shoes from Columbia, and my experience leaves me committed to this brand. The quality and attention to detail carries over from their other lines of clothing. These are stylish and rugged. I haven't gotten to do many trail miles in them yet, but they've been great around the city in the rough weather and I see them lasting for some time. Very comfortable, lots of support and traction. Not too bulky.

Good shoes with great waterproofing. Handled the deep snow well and my feet stayed dry.

I love these boots! Unbelievably comfortable, like walking on air. Wasn't expecting the bonus of keeping my toes quite warm.

I do not like these boots at all. They offer no support. I normally wear a size 10 in this brand and ended up having to return the 10 for 10.5 wide. Ordered these because the ones I wanted were unavailable after waiting 2 days for them to ship. Not happy with my second choice.

I used these shoes along with a pair of boots at work. I never let the shoes get soaked when it rained. These lasted me 3 months before they totally fell apart. The sole became fully detached from the shoe. I definitely do not recommend them.

Love columbia shoes and these are no exception I will continue to buy Columbia's

I could not find a ladies hiking boot in an E width. I was measured by the pros at REI. I am a ladies 6.5 E. I was told to get a men's 7 E. Difficult to find. These are perfect. A bit long but they are wide enough. Moderate arch support. I was able to remove the liner and put in my own inserts that have great arch support. I'm very happy with these.

I have worn Columbia boots for over 20 years, and it was just time to re-order. I really like these boots; very comfortable, not too tight or loose, nice styling, and though it hasn't really rained yet, I am wondering how they will do in wet conditions. My last pair, the ones that last 20 years, with somewhat frequent use, did great in that regard, these should do even better!

Outstanding hiking or walking boot. Have often been complimented on the style. (rare for a guy) Purchased mine from another site ($60) and i must for the first time say Zappos is over charging here.

My son wore this pair with vasyli orthotic shoe inserts everyday for one whole year until he outgrown it. This was the only pair he wanted to wear at all times. That showed how comfortable this was compared to his other shoes.

My son recieved these boots in time for a boy scout camping trip and 5 mile hike. He reports that they kept his feet warm and dry during the damp and chilly March trip. His feet were comfortable during the hike, even with little time to break the shoes in before.

I really Like these boots.I would strongly suggest these to Boots to everyone.Very sturdy and very good traction in the Snow.

Great inexpensive boots!

I listened to the reviews and ordered larger and am so glad I did. These fit perfectly and look so great! Looking forward to hiking BANFF National Park in Canada next month in these.

Really a nice fitting boot, needed a little breaking in but once the stiffness was gone it was very comfortable.

These are nice boots and they appear to be well made but I've had 2 foot surgeries and my shoes have to fit my strange feet. These don't fit well enough to keep so I will return them. Zappos customer service is the best!

Comfortable. Top notch for laces is a bit high on the shoe. Although I ordered a wide they are not as wide as I thought they would be but still fit comfortably. Would purchase them again.

Really cool looking, but a tad tight for hiking boots!

great boot other that eyelets are not metal. being a canvas strap made them wear thru. so then you lose a eyelet!

Of 4 shoes I tried, these were the best cushioned and had some arch support. They lace up well with a hook at the top to tighten more. I think the style and design make them look a little like platform shoes, but they are reasonably light and comfy. I could probably walk for miles in these.
