LOVE this boot. I am a size 15 sneaker and needed a pair of hiking boots for an upcoming trip to Yellowstone and Yosemite national parks. Enter this boot. I tried on perhaps 20 different pairs, styles and sizes until I found this boot in size 15. Too big. Got it shipped in size 14 and it fits perfectly, even with hiking socks! Great cushioning and ankle support. This boot is super lightweight and claims to be fully waterproof. Finally, a boot for a guy with big feet!

Great price, comfortable, could breathe a little better, but excellent quality and durability. Wish they made a size 12.5.

I am 6''2", and approx. 210, and size 15, and very hard on shoes and boots... Judging from the quality of construction, fit, and comfort, I think I will get quite a bit of use from this boot. They look good for every day use, but I can also hike in dirt or mud, and just scrub them to clean up for next use. I recommend these boots.

Its a good comfortable sturdy shoe. I bought a pair of Montrail foot beds to go with it and it makes for a great fitting shoe. If your looking for a pair of shoes, look at this one.

These boots are extremely comfortable, more like wearing tennis shoes. I was wanting some light weight waterproof boots to wear while fishing in the rain and these are perfect, great traction for wet, slippery surfaces as well.

I am very pleased with these boots! I ride a motorcycle so these were bought partly for that reason. EXCELLENT grip! Very comfortable straight out of the box and fit like a glove. My feet sweat a lot so these help keep them dry without letting outside moisture in. I bought both brown and black to go with my cargo pants because I'm cool like that!

If you have wide feet and never bought wide shoes RECHECK you feet size
I've never bought wide shoes because I could never find decent looking shoes, so I would always by 10.5 instead of 9.5 to compensate my feet.
I've had my old Columbia hiking shoe for about 3 years, and after finally wearing them out I got myself these.
These new ones feel great after wearing them in, already these feel like they will go the distance the same way my old shoes did. I was originally going to get the black ones but i figured the dirt will be more visible.
My favorite feature of this type of shoe is the ankle support and the water Proof feature holds true

Very comfortable but heavier than others. I have skinny ankles and these just hit me in the wrong place. Excellent shoes. Was in my final decisions.

I have been very pleased with these boots. I work 10-12 hours a day, and I am always looking for good sturdy and comfortable working boots. The only thing keeping me from giving the boots a five star review is the comfort of the insoles. I always get new insoles for my boots anyway, so that is not a big issue for me.

It looks very charismatic. Foots are always warm in Wisconsin winter.

Bought these boots to have something to wear in deeper snow when I didn't want to wear full on snow boots. Haven't had a chance to really try them out in deep snow, but wearing them around the house when paired with some Columbia wool blend socks they have felt very warm and comfortable. The tread isn't super chunky and aggressive, so these are what I would call professional / executive boots instead of full on hiking boots. Definitely something you could wear in to work and not get a second look from the boss. Which is exactly what I was looking for and why I bought them.

It's nice to find a boot that comes in a wide size and runs true-to-size. I've had to buy 11 boots from other companies to get the right fit, but these 10.5W boots fit well. The toe box is tall, which takes some getting used to. I haven't used these boots on trails yet so I can't report on how the tall toe box will effect hiking. Waterproofing seems to be effective and the boots have a good amount of traction in slick mud. My feet stayed warm for longer than I thought they would while turkey hunting in the rain. I attribute that to the tight waterproofing not allowing water or wind through. I am pleased with these boots, though there is a slight squeak when walking. Perhaps that will go away with use, but for general use, it's no problem. Still-hunting in these may prove difficult if the squeak doesn't go away, but these aren't my primary hunting boots. I bought these for everyday use and am pleased.

I really like these boots. The lite weight is perfect. The boots after 5 hours of heavy rain stayed mostly dry. My toes were damp, though it could have been sweat? I had been hiking 8 hours. I will recommend these boots to friends.

After buying several pairs of hiking boots from Columbia each time moving up in cost I still have not found a pair that will keep my feet dry. I just came back from walking my dogs through wet grass, the first of the year with these boots which I have only been wearing about 2 months and my feet were quite wet. No puddles just wet grass. They are very comfortable and wear well. Makes me wonder if they are even tested in the real world. I wouldnt recommend these if you will be in wet conditions but otherwise very nice boots. Sorry but that is my opinion.

Lace hooks are little bigger if you have habit to sit crossed leg, they tend to tangle in each other and if you are not cautious you may fall.

Love Columbia products (mostly) and wanted to try a pair of their hiking boots after not having the best experience as of late with Keen and their quality going down hill in a hurry.
So, I picked up a pair of these and they're even cheaper feeling. No cushion, thin leather and lots of pressure points throughout the boot - mostly near the toe box and side of foot.

I liked the style of this hiking boot a lot, but that was it. Boot seems to run a full size smaller and is a tad narrower than D width. I've never had a problem before with the width of a man's boot.
