I really like these shoes. They have a comfortable fit, good traction and extra toe room. I only have two complaints, first the laces are too short, they should be four inches longer. Secondly, you didn't make enough in size twelve, which must be the most popular size. I have searched every shoe source on the web and size twelves don't exist, what's up with that?

have been wearing and loved the Gel Res. all the way up through the GR7. I have tried on the GR8 and very disappointment in the change. Watch/read the reviews and they say a "logical" update. I completely disagree. This isn't an update it is a complete change. It may be a fine shoe for some but the cushion, arch and flexation point are all different. The GR8 does not hug your in the same manor at all. The GR8 reminds me of some Adidas Barricades I once purchased and thought I liked at first but ended up back with t he Gel Res as I have with many other brand of shoes I have tried. They should have made this an entire different shoe/name and kept with the true design format the Gel Res. has been all along. I purchase two pair of these GR7's in hope that they last me long enough for Asics to realize they made a mistake and come out with a new GR9 version. The FF2 feels closer to the Gel Res. 7 than the Gel Res. 8. When my purchase wears out and I have to chose a new model of show at this point I would go with the FF2 but if I can 't settle into that I will be on a hunt for a brand of show.

Fits like a glove. Love the feel. Really really good shoes

Excellent fit and build quality. I have hard-to-fit feet and the GR7 fits very well and with a little break-in, is very comfortable.
