These are my new favorite shoes and zappos has the best possible customer service. The person who helped me order these made my month and the shoes are perfect! I danced all night attending a wedding. I got the colorful version and they are so cute on, perfect heel hight, not too high. I ordered half a size up and it fit perfectly. Highly recommend. As far as mules go, these are pretty awesome. I purchased the black stripe pattern and they are very cool looking. They are very comfortable but they run a tad too small. I ended up ordering a 1/2 size up and they were perfect. The price dropped recently and I called Zappos and they refunded me the difference. Zappos customer service is the best. Couldn't be happier.

Took the advice of others and ordered 1/2 size up. From a 8.5 to a 9. These shoes are extremely comfortable and light. However, I just couldn't get used to the look. After my husband said they looked like his grandmother's bathrobe, I decided to return them. Didn't think I would get as much use out of them and at that price point, I sent them back. Bet they would look good with jeans.
