Overall looks and feels like a great shoe just not what I am currently looking for. Would highly recommend, though.

For Crossfit, the Metcon 3s definitely feel different compared to the Metcon 2s — the two box is noticiably wider and the material feels thinner, making the shoe feel loose no matter how you tie it and the insole feels flatter than the 2s. It’s not the same secure fit of the 2s. The 3s are light and feel decent to do running WODs and jumping, but the lack of support threw me off. It’s disappointing and I’ll be sticking with the 2s.
I'd also recommend:
Reebok, Nike.

I have heard great things about the Metcons, but I am not a fan and I do not think they are worth the high price tag. Here are the good and bad for me.
Positives:
- Aesthetically they look pretty good (I ordered the all black)
- Low profile mid-sole
- Low heel-toe drop
- Fairly wide toe box
Negatives:
- Too expensive
- Upper is rigid and crinkles when flexed
- Very heavy, these shoes felt like bricks compared to other training shoes from New Balance or Inov-8
- Not very flexible, feel stiff walking around
- Stiffness makes me think these may not be great for running
Ultimately, these shoes are too expensive and too heavy for me. I had to return them.
I'd also recommend:
Inov-8, New Balance

I read some reviews about these shoes coming with cheap laces. I am FLOORED, the laces are a JOKE! Nike should be going after the CrossFit, serious workout crowd that is willing to pay a premium for a premium product but cheap laces for a $130 shoe is not acceptable. The laces are terrible.
The shoes seem fine, but I'm not happy.

I started out with Nano 4s and went to 5s and loved them both. When they started wearing out the nano 6 had been out for awhile and I couldn't find my size (14) and I didn't like the look of the 7s. I bought a pair of metcon 2s on clearance at a Nike Outlet and really liked them. When the 3s came out I loved the look but they honestly don't feel as good as my pair of 2s. I feel like the 3s grip my heel better but I'm just not as comfortable in them as I am the 2s. I'll use them, but I wouldn't buy another pair if something happened to them...

Solid looking pair of shoes. Aesthetically not really my style, as it is extremely low cut. Also don't believe the hype...you can't run/sprint in these effectively. I would say these are good for weightlifting and metcon type workouts. There's no arch support or cushioning at all.

HATED these shoes. I know MetCon/HIIT/Crossfit shoes are hit and miss, but these ones definitely should go the way of the dinosaur.
First, they're probably close to a full size too big. When it's advertised as a shoe that you can cut, jump run, and lift in, that's a problem. Further, the mesh in the toe box is flimsy and stretchy, so there's very little support for footwork-related workouts.
It's a pretty stable shoe for weightlifting, but, again, if you need a bit more stability in your footing, this shoe will disappoint you.
Last, because the shoe isn't built well, the removable insole becomes ill-fitted within a month. It'll squeak when you walk/lift, and you can feel it shift in the shoe. Not something you want happening in the middle of some heavy lifts.
My advice is to look elsewhere. I do hear the Nike MetCon Flyknits are great, but I decided to switch over to Reebok Crossfit Nanos and give them a try since this was such a bad experience.
I'd also recommend:
Reebok Crossfit

The shoe does alright for training, but they squeak like crazy! I mean, it's not a little squeak that only I can hear, it's a squeak that makes people look at you and say, "dude, are those your shoes making that sound?"
I have to return them, I can't take it any longer.

The shoes are great but within 40 days of receiving them (only wearing for 4 workouts a week), they are completely coming apart. Super irritated that $130 shoes would do that...

Extremely unhappy with purchase. I have only worn these shoes less than a handful of times but I have multiple friends who own several pairs of Nike Metcon shoes including the latest, Metcon 3. I had tried on the shoe with someone else who has the metcon 3 and same size as me and so I ordered that size (same size I order all my Nike shoes which always fits fine) but this shoe did not fit the same, the box and inside the shoe it says the correct size number but something doesn't seem right about these shoes. Not sure if it was because maybe these are defective or something, but this was the first time I have ever ordered from Zappos and maybe I wasn't told that Zappos may sell lesser quality items like similar to a factory store but not sure if I will order on this site again.

Fit ok at first, but after two workouts feels like it's stretched out to a size larger and wider than marked and is now a very poorly fitting shoe. The result is it doesn't give much stability at all and is actually uncomfortable during workouts.
