My son wears orthotics and it's been challenging to find an XW pair of sneakers that fit the extra room needed. New Balance with the tie have always been a great fit and I recommend them to all the mom's that need a pair of shoes for a child that wears SMO or ASO's. I need a bit of a longer lace with this pair of orthotics but that's an easy fix.

Excellent shoes for kids with wide big feet. My boy loves them. Purchased new balance before for my 8 yo girl and she described the feeling like “flying with the wind”. Buying another pair for my boy. I will a pair for me too in future.

Excellent! My son won’t even take them off. He loves it! I am so glad that Zappos sell wide shoes for kids. There is no one else doing it to my knowledge.

Perfect fit for my toddler son with wide feet and high arches. We tried other brands but none were able to accommodate his high arch and the Velcro didn't take. Will definitely buy the same model again as his feet grow.

I purchased these for my son, and they came in in two days! They fit like a glove. He has a wide foot, and the wide option was wider than excepted, good quality. I always rely on zappos for shoes for the whole family.

I purchased these for my son to accommodate a pair of SMO orthotics. He measured at a 5, and I was told New Balance runs once size small so I ordered a 6.5 XW just to be on the safe side. I probably could have gotten away with the 6 XW but not knowing how fast his foot was going to grow, I went with the slightly larger size (the length between and 6 and 6.5 is not much, but there is a greater difference in width). So far the shoes have been great. Thank goodness New Balance makes an XW option for kids who really need them!

Great shoes for my 2 year old little boy! Very durable! My little boy has a wide foot so I love the extra wide option. I will definitely buy more New Balance for him in the future!!!
