I have about 5 rides in on this boot and it is an easy break-in with no trouble getting heel position out of the box. Right now it is fall weather in the 40's and the boot is too warm with wool socks on. I think it will hold up very well to the cold winter riding ahead but perhaps it is a bit too hot for summer. I've splashed through a few puddles and walked through wet grass and they have kept me dry. My only complaint is that the boot is just a hair too short for the length of my leg. I got my normal size 11 and I am 5'10"/160lb. For reference, the measurement from my heel to the bottom of my knee cap is 19" (my leg, not the boot).

These are the first ever "English" boots I've bought to wear in the fall when you just need a tall waterproof and insulated boot. Not only are they super comfortable, but they keep your feet warm! But not overly warm to where it's too hot. I recommend these to anyone who likes a tall boot you can just zip up and not worry with laces every time you put them on.

I'm in love with these boots! They are waterproof, easy to clean and adjustable because of the lacing in the front. Easy to put on thanks to the zipper in the back. I wear them every day in winter with warm socks an never have cold feet. But you can also wear them with normal socks in spring and fall. (haven't tried them in summer) I would love to have a tall option! (I'm 5'11) I can manage with the height, but they would fit me even better in a tall version. Please make a black version, I'll be the first to buy it!

Heading into my third Pennsylvania winter with these boots. I am an infrequent rider ( 1-3x per week). These boots 1.Look absolutely amazing (although I'm a 14-15 calf they're fairly big and still gap at top, I don't mind) 2. I wouldn't jump in them. But good for flat work. Need to be careful about stirrup size because these are hefty in height & width 3. My feet have never been toastier. 4. I also wear these to do short hikes with my dogs (1-4 miles) and they are comfortable enough for that plus they make you look like a BA adventurer on a Ralph Lauren safari. Seriously, these boots look absolutely awesome, are very warm, keep my feet dry in tall wet grasses, and to review, look amazing. I do wish they came in t tall because even though they are very tall for the category, as tall person I could do with a bit more height. Love these!

A real indulgence at the price but they are fantastic boots. I work in construction as well as enjoying riding and these boots stop my back getting really sore due to cold floor & ground conditions. In summer I don't get scratched legs when walking on the paths with brambles so they really are year round boots. So stylish too!! Really comfy. I hope they last for years (my last pair of Ariat insulated boots lasted about 6 years but ended up getting brittle and cracked) So keep them adequately moistened after they've got muddy/ wet etc and they hopefully will last for yonks. Everyone comments on my "Lovely boots"!! I had to go up half a size from my usual size

I absolutely love these boots. I started working and riding in them 8 hours a day straight out of the box. Ankle was a little tight at first but add a little mink oil to them and the leather will loosen up nicely. Ariat, please make these in a summer version!

These are true to size, stylish, and warm enough. They work great for any calf size because there is a zip in the back and laces in the front. They come with elastic and regular cord laces.

Super comfortable and extremely adjustable, right out of the box able to wear and no issues with sore feet. They are pretty warm as well, if you combine this with a merino wool sock you're feet will be sweating in the winter :) The sole is heavy, yes for those muddy days, but you'll get used to that, driving car, or riding horse, or even lots of walking, no issues so far.

I bought these just as cold weather here in CO hit. My friend had a pair and raved about them, but I was hesitant as I have rather large calves and have had problems in the past fitting into long boots. But I figured if they did not fit, I would just send them back. Well, with the lacing plus the zipper, I can honestly say they fit nicely (and do not look like stuffed sausages), and are so comfortable, I could wear them all day out of the box with no issues! Well worth the price so far. I love being able to go from running errands in town, to going for a ride, doing barn chores, without having to change shoes 3 times. I highly recommend!

If you want your feet to be comfortable and warm on a cold day AND you like it when everyone at the barn and the grocery store tells you how badass your boots are, buy these.

Wore them to the barn right out of the box. Fourteen degrees out and windy, three to four inches of mud in the pastures and pools of water just as deep. They are waterproof to the top of the foot or higher, good on snow and ice, great for mucking out, and good for riding. Easy to clean too. I did not find them too wide for my irons. Best of all, I'm 5'1" and these came right up to the back of my knee. No drop necessary. If your lower leg is at least 16" tall, these should work for you. With laces cinched as tight as possible, they fit my 12.5" calf with room for a heavy wool sock and insulated breeches. I bought my usual boot size. My trainer recognized them immediately - she bought a pair a month ago. Everyone else asks me where I got them. I'm sure they'll get oohed and aahed when I wear them away from the barn. Buy them. Odds are you won't regret it.

Soft leather fits well. Looking forward to my first ride in them tomorrow.

Beautiful boots. I thought I would order a half size larger so I could wear heavy socks but they were too big. I sent them back and ordered another size. I can't wait to get them!

I bought them a year ago and they are fantastic! Keeping my feet warm and great to ride with. I am a size 4 and I bought size 4 and they fit perfect!

Just got my boots today and they already feel perfect! I couldn't be more pleased with them. And I was worried about buying online, but they are very true-to-size and the size I ordered fit.

These boots are so gorgeous! I get compliments on them whenever I wear them. Honestly, they're so beautiful I don't wear them to the barn; I wear them as a causal boot. They are so comfortable and warm I practically live in them all winter. I would love to get another pair for the barn.

I bought this shoe a few weeks back and I love it. It is stylish, very comfortable, fits great and warm too. I wear it the first time and got asked about it three times that day. It is very comfortable to wear all day, I even use it to go walking with the dog. I am very happy about it!

I bought they boots back in November of 2018 and soooo glad I did! I'm harsh on my boots and shoes in general. I walk hard and I clean stalls, ride, etc. these boots have kept my feet warm and held up wonderfully! I'm going to admit, they're definitely not meant for warm weather unless you love to sweat to death, but they're really warm in -5 to -10 weather or when you have to go and get the horses in during an unexpected snow storm! If you work hard and want a quality winter boot, these are it.

I waffled about buying these boots, but bought them about a month ago and couldn't be happier. They were expensive, but are so incredibly versatile; I ride in them, wear them out socially, even to my office job. Comfy from the get go and warm (maybe the only drawback - I won't be able to wear them all year round). If you're not sure if you should buy these, go ahead - they're worth it!

I bought these over a year ago and LOVE them! They are extremely comfortable during long rides and are so comfy I don't mind working on the ground with them for hours. The calf size is fully adjustable with the laces. This way, I can wear with riding pants or jeans. The back zipper runs all the way down, making them very easy to get on and off. They still look new after a year and I constantly get compliments on them. I've worn these in all seasons... they are warm in winter! This is an AWESOME boot that is WORTH THE MONEY! Think about how many years you'll have them ... And skip the boot jack!!!

I have had these for 2 months and LOVE them! Feet have stayed dry and warm at 20 degrees while riding. Better than I expected. True to size for Ariat boots.
