the size 40 was about 2 sizes too big, now the 39 is too small. what???

These are my first Algeria boots, but I have been a fan of their sandals for some time. The primary reason I bought this style was for the comfort I have experienced with all my sandals. This choice did not disappoint! Not only are they comfortable, but they are also very stylish and looks great with pants as well as skirts. Thank you Zappos, and please continue to add Algeria styles!

love the plaid and ruffles. Great for Christmas without being too loud. Wore them in the rain and they did just fine. Ordered my regular size and they were way too small. The place I ordered them from was out of the next size so I turned to Zappos and they delivered! I've only worn them 3 times and they seem comfy however they are somewhat stiff and after I was on my feet most of the day they started to rub and I was glad to take them off. That being said I have terrible feet and I think most people would do just fine with them. I am new to this brand and would consider other styles based on my experience with these booties-always looking for cute stylish comfort shoes/boots.

These shoes are absolutely comfy for me. My feet are medium width, and shaped like skis.

Unfortunately I must return the Alegria Hannah Raked Garden Boots. Even the size 35 is too big for me. I can't say about the fit in any way since the boots didn't fit me. The boots did not look as nice I has thought they would for the price. The raked garden pattern is not flat, but raised somehow so it feels rough. I wanted a pair of boots that felt as comfortable as the reviews say, but no way.

I got these for work as I stand and move around for hours. I'm also a huge fan of anything plaid, so I had to have the Tartan. I haven't worn them out of the house yet, so why I gave less stars. And my son said they looked like "old Lady" shoes, which is why I dinged the style category! LOL! But so far I'm very happy with them and the size is generous so if you are between sizes I would advise going down. I do like the ruffle!

Not as comfortable as other alegrias I have. And the seam running right over the top is annoying. I love this brand. Never have any issues, but this was an expensive disappointment.

Such a cute bootie but I had to return it.It has quite a large heel cup compared to the rest of the fit. The toes were slightly narrow for me but my heel slipped up and down way too much. So sad because these are really cute!

These booties look better on screen then in person. The material is shinny and didn't look like it would do well in rainy weather. I couldn't believe how much larger this size was in this brand.
