I had such an issue actually getting these shoes (stolen from my front porch on a monday; had a wonderful experience with customer support and had a new pair by Wednesday) that I was convinced they wouldn't fit or they would be horribly uncomfortable. I was delighted to see that they fit perfectly, and are not uncomfortable at all (the sole is much softer rubber than I thought it would be, and I haven't even had to use the insoles I bought for them). They look great. My only complaint is that the knots of the thread on the inside of the shoe dig into the foot in an angry little way, but it's nothing a little mole skin can't fix. Overall, VERY happy with these, perfect replacement for my old dress shoes.

I bought more than 1 pair and I am returning one pair due to a small defect which unfortunately makes the shoe unwearable. The stitching is not secure on the top of the left shoe. Photo included.

These are perfect. I wore them with no socks and they were so comfortable from the minute I put them on. I love them. I bought the black, I will buy other colors.

I am pleased with these loafers, but I do believe it did not provide a sufficient arch support. They are very comfortable, and I was able to wear them most of the first day.

Half size too big. Not as good as they used to be.

I've had three pair in brown over the last several years and love them! My feet are hard to fit but being a quality leather, these adapt and become perfect. I also have pain in the balls of my feet, and these are the one of the two most comfortable shoes I’ve ever found. They fit well and feel great, with or without socks. (I wear them casually and usually with jeans). I dropped from a size 7 to a 6.5, and in that size the right shoe has ALWAYS run a little tighter than it should. However, it's just a matter of wearing them a bit and the tighter one always stretch to fit, as good leather does. They're comfortable from the start, (or once that right shoe is stretched into shape and size, which doesn't take long at all) and become more comfortable with wear and time. Ultimately, they become soft and yet more comfortable, and take on a patina as only a good leather can. Every few years I buy a new pair just to have a newer looking pair, but I still love the old ones. I don't believe I'll ever find a better, well built shoe with proper support that becomes more comfortable and improves in comfort and beauty with age and wear.

Excellent quality leather and construction. Very attractive classic loafer. Width was a bit wider than expected (could accommodate somewhat wide ball of foot area and tall toe box), but heel was so loose that I couldn’t keep the shoes on. Typically 7.5 regular or wide, ordered 7.5, and it was a bit too long, but 7 might be too short.

They are beautiful but there is no way that the size was correct. It was a full size larger! I am returning them.

I normally wear an 8.5. The 8.5 were too long, but they fit width wise. I returned them and got a size and they were all around too small. I guess I need an 8.75? The size 8 probably would have fit better if I had a really narrow foot.

I have wide, flat feet. I wanted a pair of classic loafers and tried many other brands to no avail; they were mostly too narrow. These fit really well. The toe box is slightly higher and the width is perfect. The shoe has very minimal arch support.

Nice shoe.... I wear an 8-1/2 Narrow... The width on these was good, but they were too short! They have no arch support (which I expected) and would benefit from an insole...

Classic penny loafer. True to size if wearing with socks. (Would be to big if worn with stockings.) Seems like nice leather. Despite this shoes good qualities, I decided to return because I would prefer a thicker sole and a more fashionable style. This shoe is good but boring.

Had to exchange for a 1/2 size smaller. Beautiful shoe though I really excellent quality!

I'm a pretty solid 8.5 but am returning for a size 8. Great classic penny loafer, however!

Brown oiled waxy leather is a beautiful rich color. The quality seemed spot-on, but I returned because they were quite large (at least a ½ size, maybe a full size) and my size is sold out.

I have a completely average width (8.5cm), size 8 (24 cm) foot, and this shoe seemed slightly on the wide and long side. It would probably be a great alternative to the Bass Weejuns if those are too narrow for you. The shoe seemed well made, but the brown leather was a bit on the stiff side and will definitely require some breaking in.

Classic penny loafers in good quality leather. Runs large. Strangely the right shoe is noticeably larger than the left. The insoles are not removable, but I added a thin foam insole on top of existing one, and it may have solved the problem. I'm test driving them indoors now. Hope it works because I like them!

Like the shoe, but the width was too narrow for my comfort (and my feet are on the narrower side). Sending them back.

I wanted to love these. The leather was beautiful, and they seemed to have high-quality construction. Unfortunately, I think they need to have more structure at the sides. The back half of my foot slipped in and out with every step (with an audible sound!), and the sides of the show bowed out as my weight landed on them. I don't think of myself as having a narrow foot, but these were like trying to walk in watermelon halves.

I had high hopes when I opened the box; the loafer was exactly what I was looking for style-wise: a classic penny loafer. It’s a beautiful shoe no doubt. Unfortunately it was so very stiff I could barely walk around in it. I’d expect a break-in period but that’s not what this needed. They were ok to put on and sit down, but standing they were uncomfortably hard-soled too. I so wanted to like these, but I had to send them back. My search continues for the perfect looking and feeling classic penny loafer.

Based on the reviews I ordered a .5 size down and that worked for me. I bought the shoes for work and wore them off an on for about 6 months and one fell apart. The stitching on the top side of the shoe completely came undone making the shoes unwearable. For the price I expected more then 6 months of limited use. Disappointed.
