I love me a stylish Mary Jane and this square heel is way cool. Seems like a basic shoe that might get overlooked but I got compliments the first day I wore them. They are also comfortable enough that you could run in them should you need to dodge an annoying co-worker.

I love the square heel on this shoe. I wear an 8.5-9 depending on the show, so I gave the 39 a try but it's just a bit too small.

Pros: Very stylish and unique. I love the trendy look. Looks great with black cotton tights under not-too-dressy dresses or skirts, or with thin trouser socks under slacks. Adds a little height while still giving very stable footing on uneven ground or difficult, steep steps. Seems to be a good quality shoe. No rubs, blisters, red marks, or any foot problems after wearing this shoe.
Cons: Runs small. I am a perfect 7M and bought the 7M. I can wear them only with thin tights or thin socks. My toes are right up against the front of the shoe. I think a bigger size would look clunky on my feet--these shoes are quite heavy due to the heel, and of course the square toe adds to the chunkiness. I have worn them for two outings of four hours--the first four hours were not comfortable due to the shoes' tightness. They were more comfortable the second time when I wore them for another four hours. These are not for long walks or for all-day wear. Also they are just a little too chunky-looking to wear with nylon stockings. Camper is a Spanish brand, but these shoes are made in Vietnam. There was a label on the bottom of the left shoe that was glued on and very hard to get off--like what I'd see on a discount shoe rack--not what I expect at this price point.
Bottom line: These cute shoes fill a need in my closet, and I do like them and will wear them. But I took off one star for fit and comfort.
