I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the brand, I chose these in a 9 as that’s what my original/standard tall Uggs are. Purchased the Black color first and thought they were just way too boring looking, so I exchanged for the brown. The brown leather scratches really easily so be prepared to either deal with or seal with some type of protector? They are a little bulky when attempting to fit under snow pants but still work. Which is probably bc of the excess bulk (see picture 4) where the boot waves/pooches out:( I live downtown Chicago and I was looking for a winter boot that could withstand 0 degree temps, wouldn’t leak in deep snow (which my dog likes to play in), sturdy sole to minimize slips without being too heavy or stiff that they would cause shin fatigue on long walks. Lastly, the boots needed to be quality product that would withstand the ridiculous amount of chemicals/salt that the city dumps on our sidewalks which creates puddles even in temps well under 32 degrees and is caustic to footwear. Prior to this I had tried; Sorel Winter Carnival, Tivoli II Pull-On, Ecco Sport Gora Tall, Ugg Adirondack, and the Sorel Joan of Artic. The Vibram soles itself is supportive while remaining flexible however, I am disappointed in the softer foam sole portion that meets the leather base (see picture) as started to peel away from the heel area after only two wears! I have been more careful when I kick them off to grab lower down on the more ridged sole portion. As of now we do not have snow in Chicago so I can’t say how the leather holds up to snow and salt but I have worn them in 20 degree temps and they are warm but not toasty which could be a problem.

Initially I was on the fence about making the purchase, only because I wanted to pay for a quality boot and not just the UGG name. Well, UGG gave me what I was looking for. Although they felt a tad bit heavy when removing from the box, on my feet they felt quite light. They are difficult to put on and remove, however, I'll take that any day, due to the warmth and sneaker like comfort they provide. I felt the arch support was comfortable but I like to add my own because I have horrible knees and need the extra comfort when pounding the pavement in NYC. The UGGPURE lining and insole are quite warm and comfortable. My usual size is 10 yet purchased an 11 in these. Nice and snug on the feet, ankles, and calves, reaching right below my knees. I had a pair of leggings on the first time I wore them and my legs didn't feel a bit of the windy cold whipping around them. Not sure about the traction or how waterproof they are in slippery snowy puddles, hoping they perform well in that aspect. So far, I'm really happy I got these. I ordered a whole size up & my toes still bumped the end. Also, I have very, very slender calves & feet and these were extremely hard to get on and off. Also, they weren't very cute on.

The boots is beautiful I bought it for my child mother but it’s a little tight around her ankle area so she decided to return it.

I loved these but unfortunately, I had to return them because they were too tall. I am not quite 5 foot so they just didn’t work out on my short little legs, otherwise they would have been perfect.

I love these - they are warm and comfortable. They are totally weatherproof yet I can still wear them to the office with a dress/skirt or over leggings. I have muscular calves and the zipper for these doesn't go as far down as some other tall boots I have, so these are hard to get on. Also, I am usually a 7.5, and ordered the 8. My toe lightly skims the front of the boot. It's not enough of an issue to trade up for the 9, but if I were ordering again I would start with the 9. In spite of this, I still love them and think they are super cozy once on. I bought them after seeing a very stylish coworker wear them on a cold rainy day in NY with a skirt. They looked great and she loved them too. (She had the brown, I got the black).

I ordered these Ugg boots because I love style and that it's below the knee and also they are waterproof. They have the strong durable long lasting sole. My only problem with them is that they are hard to put on it took my like 10 minutes to try to get them on my foot l just wish that it had a whole zipper from top to bottom instead of having the zipper in the middle of boot. Thank you Zappos for my fast VIP delivery but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep them. I'm just glad that Zappos have a 365 return policy

I wanted to love these boots-they cover my whole leg and have that plush lining from top to toe. But the ankle was uncomfortable and the boot bulged at the bridge of my foot. I have to send them back. They weren't as comfortable as I hoped.
