This jacket wards off that bone chilling wet cold that happens in the pacific nw wet winters. It's cozy and stylish for a down jacket-and includes all the well thought out details that OR is famous for- lined pockets, reversible zipper, removable hood, multiple pockets, water resistant fabric and more.

I have been wanting a coat like this for a long time and just couldn't justify the cost. I love this coat. It is totally worth the price and looks great. I had to go a size up than I usually would, but I know this about Outdoor Research tops and me. I do usually fit in a medium, but I am broad across the shoulders.

I love this parka! I recently moved to Montana and I needed a good, long jacket to keep me warm and functional and this jacket is perfect. I am 5' 10" and 145 lb and the medium is a great fit, it's even long enough in the sleeves! I love that I can wear it for casual shopping around town and for hiking and XC skiing with my dogs, all the while looking stylish. The zipper can occasionally be difficult to get started.

I use this as my daily coat in the winter for work. I am a teacher and am outside with the kids multiple times a day. This coat is super warm, cozy, and light weight!

Great jacket from a trip to the store to a winter scramble. Super packable and light, yet looks super and gives wonderful warmth. The longer length increases versatility (without a climbing harness...) Multi-use gear at its finest.

Haven't used it much yet but so far I love it. Flattering fit. I'm 5'8, 140 lbs, medium-chested, wide-hipped, bought a medium and it's perfect for a thick layer underneath. Covers my butt, great warmth there. Seems like I'll still need to layer up with it if temps are below 25, or if I'll be standing around and not moving. I'll probably feel comfortable snowshoeing or cross country skiing in it. Zipper opens from bottom too, which is nice. The jacket is really well made with great technical detail, down to the rubber zipper pulls! Getting lots of compliments.

I purchased this coat because I needed something to wear day-to-day during our frigid Minnesota winters. We haven't had any sub-zero days yet, but so far it's been plenty warm without being too bulky.

This jacket is awesome. Stylish and warm. Love the length and sleekness of the jacket. I am 5'9" 133lbs and the jacket fits my long arms perfectly. Nothing puckers weird and fits all the right curves on a woman's body without sacrificing style. The only minor complaint I have is that the jacket arm holes at the wrist are a bit small (not tight- just small). I cannot fit my watch comfortably through the wrist hole and it gets too tight when I leave it inside the jacket. Minor problem

I absolutely love this jacket. I needed a nice looking, warm jacket for every day casual wear. This is perfect. It's warm but I don't look like the michelin man in it. It still feels light and easy to move in. I love the color, rather solid black it has more of a light striped pattern in it.

I love this Parka. It keeps me warm, it's really light so feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. The design is flawless. However Vancouver winters are extremely wet and as this is down, I'm a bit afraid of going out in the heavy rain. We will see.

I bought this last fall and wore it all winter. Although it was a somewhat mild winter in Chicago, it never was too cold for this coat. It has a feminine, somewhat slimming fit that keeps me toasty without looking like the Michelin Man. The soft, fitted inner sleeves and tall collar both help to keep the cold wind out, which I really appreciated. It also stays dry in light rain and snow.

I have been looking for a warm raincoat, mostly for travel. I had one but it had velcro down the front which ruined every top I wore when I wore the coat! Living in SoCal I don't need a warm raincoat, I have plenty of lightweight ones, but we travel a lot and I needed a very lightweight, warm raincoat. This one is very comfortable and super lightweight. I will be able to roll it and shove it into a bag. I like the length, as it will keep legs dryer. I haven't worn it yet so I can't speak to how waterproof it is, but it says it is completely waterproof so I'm assuming that's the case. Coat is pricey, but hopefully worth the money!

I love everything about this jacket....and I have tried on quite a few. I wanted warmth, water resistance and a jacket that would be comfortable walking distances. Also, I wanted to look great. I am 5' 3" and 115lbs with a bust measurement of 36 (difficult to find a jacket that is not to tight there!) The small fits me perfectly and I love the wine color...but if the small in the Khul also fits (I will go with Khul), because of the stiff pokey Velcro right in the front of the collar under my chin, where the hood attaches! Great jacket in spit of that issue! I am still deliberating what to do abou the hard stiff Velcro...does anyone know how to make this issue more comfortable?

At 5"3 and 140 lbs with an athletic build, I bought this coat in a Medium. While I love the overall qualities and color, it is just a bit tight around the mid trunk - which resulted in compression of the down and a cold back. A large would be way to long in the sleeves and overall length. Will probably send it to my daughter who is a bit taller than me.

Great Jacket, warm, breathable, and really comfortable. I got a large, because outdoor research has funny sizing, but the large was too big in the bust area, looked funny, so I got a medium instead. It fits really well. It seems a little snug around my hips, and I can't layer a lot underneath, but it's working out.

Love the colour and fit of this jacket! I'm 5'9" with some newborn baby weight, I got the medium which is a bit snug now but I am usually a small so I'm hoping it will be not so snug in a couple months. I still wear everyday in November in Canada. I love how lightweight it is because I hate bulky jackets in winter since I am in a car a lot because I live in the country. So far it has proven warm (worn in -10 Celsius) hopefully it stands up to the dead of winter temperatures! The fit is definitely flattering, love the long sleeves! I usually have a problem with sleeves always been too short and these reach just to my lower thumb joint. Overall I am very happy with the jacket and the down is ethically sourced which is also a big pro!

Lovely parka, but the sleeves are very tight at the wrists! I'm petite, and otherwise the jacket fit well. High quality product.

I debated whether I needed a jacket of this length and type. Yesterday morning in the cold and rain at 6am taking Murphy for his walk I discovered that it was indeed warm, waterproof and wind proof. I came back dry and warm carrying him in my arms because he was only half soaked. I'm keeping this jacket.

This jacket will keep you warm in some of Manitoba's coldest days. I wear it to wait for the bus and walk on the river trail. It is long enough to protect the lower waist and keep the wind out. It's biggest draw back is how tightly fitted the jacket is around the neck. There is no room to have a scarf and close up the jacket around it, which lets the wind through. The hood also feels too small and with a touque on fails to protect the sides of the face from the wind chill. I would trade off some of the jacket's chic for a more comfortable and practical fit.
