I really want to love these... They look very trendy on your foot, but fail the primary mission of Vionic to help correct over pronation. The interior foot pads are not as supportive as past ankle boots. Also, the buckle (instep) side of the boot has a deep open V that keeps the boot loose around your ankle further diminishing support. If you just need a little support but don't have any major foot issues, like custom orthotics, then this boot should be fine. For me and my acquired fallen arch and pronation issues these Vionics are not what I expect from the brand. I can wear all my other Vionics ( and I own 10 pairs of sandals, 2 pairs of ankle boots, 2 pairs of wedges) without inserting my orthotics, this pair of boots missed the support mark while nailing the cute and stylish mark. I will be returning. Thanks Zappos for being my only shoe source! I love everything about your company.

these are amazing boots, stylish and made very well. I had no idea this was an orthopedic boot until I got it and there was a pamphlet inside, what a pleasant surprise! They fit like a glove with no need to break in. I like the rounded toe, i feel it makes your foot look smaller and its a nice design, not too bikerish or gothic, but not plane jane either. Exactly what I was looking for! They are already treated with a weather resistant which is also great for snowy winter. I believe worth the price for comfort and style, these boots will last a few years!

These booties fit well, look good and most importantly help support my plantar fasciitis pain. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The boots are very comfortable to walk in and sturdy. I barely noticed my foot pain after a whole day of being on my feet. Also I wear a size 11 and sometimes shoes look gargatuan in that size...not these! They are super cute.

I really love these boots. I have been searching high and low for a cute bootie to wear with jeans or pants and I finally found it. It is comfortable, easy to put on and take off, has nice traction, adequate foot support and stylish. I was concerned as to whether or not I would like the gold metal hardware but it is actually nice and adds a little edge without being tacky. I like that the bootie zips up from the inner part of the foot versus the outer part of the foot. The leather is nice quality and beautiful. The tan colour is very nice not light and not a dark brown. I like how the tip of the boot is a bit darker than the rest. This color will go with everything. I am now contemplating getting them in black. I am a teacher and I need comfortable shoes since I am on my feet all day. They have adequate support but if they had more foot cushion I would have rated them five stars. Wore them all day straight out of the box with some skinny jeans and they looked awesome and I was happy. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love these boots. They were comfortable immediately. I ordered my regular size and can wear a lightweight sock with them. I require the wide width in the Vionic sneakers but was able to wear the medium width in these boots. My only regret is that I did not order another pair in a different color as I can not find them available now for purchase.

I love these boots so much. I mean I get to have my Vionic arch and heel support AND have black boots with straps and buckles... how cool is that!? They might even be a little more comfortable than my other Vionic shoes.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Side zipper makes for easy on/off. Brass details are subtle and add a nice detail on the Java colored boot.

Love, love, love my lona ankle boots by vionics! Recently fractured 2 toes in several places, & was keenly concerned about ample toe box space. I order an 8.5 boot, typically wear an 8 in flip flops. They fit perfectly. The arch support sublime! Thank you vionics for helping me walk without limping!

I can't say enough about how fantastic these boots felt on my feet right out of the box! I immediately ordered them in a second color. After a heel injury three years ago, the only shoes I could wear for approximately six months where the Vionic flip-flops. They saved me. Since then, I have ordered slippers and flats from Vionic. And now...the sexy and stylish ankle boots. I am a very happy girl! Thank you Zappos for your great service.

I suffer from severe plantar fasciitis and was in desparate need for supportive shoes that didn't cause me pain. I love all the vionic shoes I have purchased so far. These boots are super cute and pretty supportive. My feet do hurt a little after wearing them for a while but overall they are worth the money!

I have only worn these shoes a few times, however, I was able to keep them on all day at work and they were quite comfortable which is saying a lot ! My foot is on the wider side and these shoes were really comfy.

CUTE and comfy boot but very wide at heel so I walk right out of them. Buckle is decorate and does not tighten.

I ordered these to wear with my custom orthotics. I also have very high arches/insteps, very narrow heels, but an average width forefoot. I ordered these in my usual size (8M). These boots were ridiculously wide in the ankle and looked way too clunky with my skinny calves. My heels also slipped up while walking. This wasn't a big surprise to me since they also look wide on the model in the video, but I love Vionic sandals so I thought I'd try them. The bottom strap does have an adjustable buckle, but the strap is so loose that adjusting the buckle will not affect the fit of the shoe. I would only recommend trying these if you have wide ankles/calves.

Fit OK but didn't like the fabric

Vionic usually run big, and feel great right out of the box. These have a very narrow area across the top of the foot/arch, and very narrow in the heel.

Not a Boot These are pretty cute, but on the side that there's not a zipper, the upper just has a side-slit most of the way down to the sole. In other words, if you live someplace cold, you might as well be wearing low-tops. There's none of that cozy, supporting feeling of a boot, because with the side wide open these are effectively not boots.
