I have the GT-1000 4 which fit like a dream 11.5 (2E) Wide. I ordered these the exact same size and width and when i tried them on they are a bit narrower than what a wide shoe normally is, so i ordered them 4E wide so hopefully they fit. My average shoe size is 10.5 (2E) Wide (mainly Merrells) and about 11 to 11.5 (2E) Wide with Brooks and with Asics. So all i can say is that the width on these seems to be off.

bought these for my husband after finding that NewBalance discontinued a similar style he loved.. the ASICS run small he usually wears and 11 but needed the 12 good thing Zappos has free shipping/returns .. he likes them a lot, wears them almost every day whether he's taking a walk or just working at his desk they're his new go-to shoe

Been wearing these or equivalent asics model for years due to comfort and black on black for work. Pros: Love the black on black for business casual at work Awesome comfort Great air flow to keep feet cool Feedback: Need a nice brown on brown version for business casual to wear with sport coat and still be on your feet all day Previous models had durability issues in toe mesh. Too early to tell on this one, but it seems slightly better.

I love this shoe!! the fit is true to size. I have a foot and heel problem and I work on my feet. The black shoe is for work and I am getting the multi-colored one for walking.

I loved the Asics GT-1000 4, perfect fit, very comfortable and supportive. The Asics GT-1000 runs short and narrow. I normally wear 2E, but even sizing up a half size and this shoe does not have sufficient toebox room so am returning. It is very frustrating that Asics makes a perfect shoe and then discontinues it just to make a different shoe, but the improvements are not always good and then one is left to go shoe shopping again.

That these are as good as they are surprised me given their low price. Differences exist between this shoe and the much more expensive Gel Kayano 23, but in the final analysis they cancel each other out. In the same marked size, the Kayanos have a little more room in the toe box and are a little more shock absorbent, but then these GT-1000 5's feel a little more secure. For me, Asics have the best fit, and the quality is good.

Perfect fit. I had the GT-1000 4 and these are the same size and fit.

I got the Indigo and Orange. Like every pair of Asics I've owned, they are perfect. Size is spot on for me and they are super comfortable. Would definitely buy again!

I am a 78-year old man and have been jogging for more than 60 years. I don't jog anymore but I brisk walk. I use Asics shoes ever since I remember, they are the best for my feet. The GT-1000-5 (9.5/4E) is the best shoe Asics has developed, perfect in all parameters including length and width which are critical for comfort to me. One example: It's hilly country at home and I walk for about an hour and a half. I normally feel very tired for a while and somewhat tired for a day or two afterwards. With these shoes, it was like a walk in the park and I felt great almost immediately. I strongly recommend them. And I always buy them at Zappos.

Love the style. Very comfortable bed. Arch not as supportive as i would've liked. But, still, these are very comfortable sneakers.

My son loved these sneakers out of the box. He always finds Asics to be the most comfortable sneaker. He said the arch support felt good on his foot. We exchanged them only because we had accidentally ordered the wrong size.

I got these for my 12 year old. He loves them. He says they feel great. They fit as expected and it is nice not to drag a 12 year old boy shoe shopping.

Ordered three brands of shoes for my husband. Very comfortable shoe. Always half size up for Asics. Lots of cushioning, room for his orthotics. In the end, decided to go with the Brooks Ghost 9 because they fit his foot slightly better.

Finally found the right running shoe for my work outs. I guess it pays to spend a little more and go with a top brand in the running game. They fit well and have great cushion in all the right spots. I will be coming back asics for my next pair!

Actually bought 2 pair one black for work and the other was gray and blue for running. The size was and width was perfect for me. I have worn the to work a lot more at present time. I am on my feet and do a lot of walking during my 8 hour shift. I work 4 days a week. This shoe has been very comfortable and has good support. I really like the shoe so far. I have not used the running shoe as much to this point, but I really like it so far. For me Asics has been a good shoe for work and running. I usually run about 30 plus miles a week and helping to train my daughter-in- law to run a half marathon. I have run 13 marathons and am 68 years old. Like this shoe has been very good for me. Zappos has been a great place to get work and running shoes.

I want to be very positive; it looks and feels great. My toes are squashed; and I guess I need to try the 10.5, but I've never owned a 10.5 and the other size 10s that I compared side by side from Asic and Nike are fine. I think there's a bit of slippage (forward) as I walk; but I don't see fixing this with lacing-fu. So, I'm returning a comfortable (around ankle and arch) shoe. But it looks great (as confirmed by wife.) :)

Good shoe. Using them for volleyball and have good cushioning to help my knees.

This shoe is comfortable and the fit is true to size. I bought the Indigo Blue/Hot Orange and it feels great. Also, I get numerous compliments on these sexy shoes!

I've been wearing these (and their predecessor models) for years and have found them to be excellent for exercise as well as for casual wear, including at work. A very versatile shoe which makes 'em great for traveling too (one less pair to shlep). They've always been snug which is great for exercise... but this time they seemed a bit tighter. So much so that they really started to cause pain in my upper mid-foot after about 30 minutes. I tried to replace with the next width up but it was sold out, so went with the extra wide version and it has worked like a charm. Perhaps a little too loose for cross fit etc but really comfy for casual/casual work and will do for a workout in a pinch.

Can't go wrong with asics. Super comfortable and supportive.

Great shoe for me!

I bought these for my son as a birthday present. He has limited section of shoes due to his shoe size. I decided to buy him some online and give it a try and surprisingly it fit him and best of all he like them.
