The shoe is not stylish at all. It's kinda cute in a dorky way. However, it is very comfortable. I have a lot of foot issues and I will say that trying them out in the house, it does feel very cushioned. I would imagine they would be great for long walks. Unfortunately for me, I have a narrow heel and the shoe, even when tied tightly, moves up and down on my heel as I walk. I need to return them.

For me these shoes are unbelievably comfortable and fit like like a dream. I have to buy/ return many pairs of shoes to Zappos because they just don't fit, even though I buy the same size all the time. Anyway, I can walk for my miles in these shoes, (and I do!) even though I have older person problem feet and I need loads of cushioning especially in the fore foot. Stand on a pebble? You'll never know or feel it wearing these. The shoes are slightly on the wide side for a medium fit but have superb arch support and excellent insoles. I bought the grey color and then immediately bought the blue color too from Zappos. Wanted the black color as well but Zappos didn't have my size, so awaiting to get them from seller on Amazon. Another reason to buy them is they make your feet look smaller than they are and as I wear size 10, this is a definate plus.

I love these Finn Comfort Columbias! I'd just discovered the Finn Comfort Ikebukuro a few weeks ago (my first Finn Comfort shoes), and adore them, but was hoping to find something just like them that would be slightly more breathable in the hot, hot summer both here and abroad. I have a very wide foot, but both of these styles work well for me. As eeeeeeveryone says, it takes a little time to get used to the stiffer insole and higher arch support - but once you've done that you won't want to stop wearing them. The don't-mess-with-me sole makes me feel invincible on cobblestones. Those German shoemakers know what they're doing!

Wow. Not the most stylish, but for travel on uneven surfaces they’re perfect. They seem to breathe also. Keeper!

Love the Columbia Finn Comfort. I have this syle in Brown, Black and Blue. The blue is great with jeans and keeps my feet cooler than the all leather versions. Still hoping someday I can find it in the gray color in my size.

I have been wearing Finn Comfort for over 15 years and have about 50 pair. These sneakers live up to what I have believed for many years - best shoe I can buy as a person with high arches. Try this brand - they are expensive but well worth the price.

Wider toe box than expected. Heel slips. So too wide in heel. Appearance close to a black sneaker. ASICS brand has comfort and support.

I had to get new shoes after my leg and foot were injured and the shoes had to accommodate a wide foot and a brace. I was fitted for Finn Comfort shoes at a store and was pleased with the fit although I had to use a thinner insole than the lovely cork and latex one provided. This was my second pair of Finn Comfort shoes (I have sandals which are great). I love them- they are supportive, comfortable and attractive.
