I love these shorts! They are very well made and have a great fit. They have a built-in panty which I wasn't expecting, but like that feature. I'm ordering a second pair.

SO comfortable and easy to move in. I'm 5'9", 145, fairly athletic build. I'm not a shorts-wearer, but these are amazing. I wish they came in more than black and drab colors. I wore them running and weightlifting and they were perfect.

Good fit and length. Very high in the waist though and not my preferred style

My new favorite shorts! I am 5'6" and 145 lbs and I bought the medium. They fit well and look really nice. Can easily be worn to work out in as well as for a casual outing or work if that is allowed. Very comfortable and nice heft in the fabric. I Love Lucy! Perfect for big hip girls like me!

I love these shorts. They are a bit longer for us over 50 something ladies and they have a comfortable pocket fr keys or a phone. They have an attractive drape for shorts. I've ordered a second pair!

I'm a curvy girl of 61. These shorts, with a drawstring waist and a 5" inseam, are perfect for my daily walks. I'm very happy with the quality as well.

I had been searching for a short that was longer than your average running short. I wanted something that didn't have bulky pockets and had a flattering fit for my slightly wide hips. The fit on these turned out to be really nice. I ordered about five pair of black shorts like these off Zappos and then returned the other four. These were my choice. Great length. Great flattering fit. The side pockets don't add bulk to your hips but you still get some extra storage. The waist band is a little heavier than I would prefer for warm weather, and the tie at the waist creates a slightly unflattering bump under a tight t-shirt (I tucked it inside for a smoother look). Despite these weaknesses, the fit and style were worth these downsides. I tried on other five-inch shorts that had side slits. Because these do not have side slits, it makes them feel a bit longer and more modest than other 5" competitor shorts. A great purchase. (About me: somewhat athletic build, 155lbs, 5ft5in, size 10 in pants, L fit great).

I didn't like the "underwear" lining in these shorts. Rest of the fit was just okay, but the contrast of "yoga" waist and loose legs was not very flattering or comfortable for me. Returned.
