Ever since I got the predecessor to the tai chi mid-tops over a decade ago, I've been an AND1 fan & I purchased these because I just came across them after getting the low top version from amazon. So, FYI: If these are bought for activity/function, ... understood. But if they are a "fan" buy for not just comfort >but also< for looks, both images on both websites for this shoe do not show the true color of the collar (which is NOT white, but light metallic silver). I would suggest the complete black version for MULTI-purpose "fanage" endorsement.

Wonderful Grip. First time wearing them on the gym floor and my start/stop ability was off the chart! Very stylish shoe. This was my first experience with a mid-top shoe (I've always done low-top or cross training type shoes previously, I found my ankles to be a little sensitive when lacing them up tight. I rolled my socks down a bit to double the thickness in that area. Overall, great shoe, I use it twice a week to play ball and love it.
