I love these shoes, I feel like Dansko pulled one from the archives here. I have not been able to wear Danskos for a few years as they had changed the fit, these feel more like the ones I got in the 90's, and they do not have the weird upturned toe that most new styles have. I got my normal size 42, it feels just a smidge big but the 41 was too short. These are not narrow like the newer Danskos, my feet are on the wide side of normal and these are perfect. I hope they remake the Chelsea boots that they made years ago as well! Overall this is a great pair of shoes. They are my new favorites.

Insole is not removable. This is important because it will not allow me to remove it and replace it with my orthotics. I ordered this shoe twice because we thought that the one that was not removable was an older model and a newer one would have one that was removable as advertised. Now have to return a second pair.

These have a great cowboy bootie vibe, they are stable in spite of the added 2" height you get, and comfortable! I got them to ease my great toe arthritis and they do.

Love the style! They fit better than the original style Dansko across my foot. I've had these for aout a year now and can say they have held up great! I wear them every day to work. Very good shoe would and will buy again!

I love the Piet! I am on my feet for 12-14 hours a day so I place a lot of value in a good pair of shoes. The Piet helps me get through my day with ease! I prefer the Piet to the other professional Danskos as this style does not have the band or ridge that feels like it cuts across the top of my foot. Before the Piet, I had to buy the mary jane styles of Dansko to avoid the pressure on the top of my foot. I had no break in time for this shoe. I put them on and it was like I had been wearing them for years. I never write reviews but this shoe compelled me. I love this shoe!

I have purchased Dansko Tamara several years ago and loved the shoes. When I ordered, I selected two pairs in different sizes. I returned the bigger size and kept the one that fit. I love these shoes. I was in need of another pair and ordered the Dansko Piet. The first pair I ordered was a 38 which was the same size as the Tamara. It was way too big. I then ordered the 37 which is a perfect fit. I like the fact I can order and return without having to pay shipping costs. I also received the items much quicker than anticipated. Ordering through Zappos is great. I've been happy with the service and the quality of Dankso shoes. I also ordered a pair of dressy croc sandals. Perfect fit!

This is my 4th pair of Piets. I had them many years ago and loved them, then I couldn't find them anymore till recently. I just bought 2 pairs. I am a nurse on my feet long days. I love these because they have elastic on the side and I have a high arch, so these accomadate my foot. I have a wide foot too, and these work great. I wear a 9 in regular shoes and a 40 in these. I just wish they would make more colors.

SUPER comfy right out of the box. They fit like a glove or like a pair of Dansko shoes that I've already had for a while and broken in. My pants tend to run a little short (I'm 5'7"), and get caught between my leg and the pull-thingy above the heel on these shoes. I might just have to go buy new pants to accommodate these shoes! They are THAT comfortable.

In the '90s, as someone else noted, Dansko used to make these and sold them in many colors. I hope that they will add to the palette now. I hate the cloggy look of other Danskos with the Sanita footbed, but these shoes can go anywhere. I LOVE them. They have a classic style, in that they look great but they don't walk into the room before you do, if you know what I mean. I wore my old ones until the soles actually split, which took at least 10 years. Dress, casual, wherever. And now that I have a "toe thing," these are the only shoes I can wear without any pain at all. Dansko, if you make more colors in this style, we will buy more pairs! You can spare me the cutesy prints of the clog styles, but I would buy hunter green and dark red and cognac and navy and whatever else you make. If you want to make something more stylish, then change the sole colors or something. I'd buy black with turquoise soles, for example ... You get my point. :)

I love Dansko shoes. I was very excited to get these. I read the reviews and I wasent sure if I should get my normal size 40 or 39s I have bought 39 in this style before and they were fine but I had bought boots and they felt to tight and rubbed my baby toe. I ended up with a 40 and it does feel roomy but I don't think my heel will come out. I also can wear 2 pairs of socks(which I do in the winter) to give them a snugger feel. I kept going back and forth if I should exchange for the 39 but I feel they might be to small. I hate when my toe rubs and it doesn't in these and it might in the smaller size. These are very comfortable and I want to get another pair.

These shoes saved my feet and they are cute.

The overall look is great. The width is a little narrow for me but I have wide feet. And the foot bed is a bit stiff for me. And once you get used to the heel "flop" the shoes are good. A sturdy, well-constructed shoe. I'm used to Ariat clogs but since they don't make them anymore, I'm looking for a new style. This is good for the transition.

I have been wearing Danskos for years. They are the only shoe that doesn't make my feet hurt after a long day of walking around on concrete floors. These shoes stand up to the Dansko name. Love the elastic on the sides that allow a little extra wiggle room when putting them on.

Of the four pair of Danskos (of different styles), these are my favorite and most comfortable straight out of the box. I bounce between a 10,10.5,11. I had bunion surgery many moons ago and they're grown back slowly. My maryjane styled clogs rubbed the top of my big toe joint where bunion is trying to regrow. These clogs are fantastic. I have a high instep and flat feet. Instep doesn't bother me because of the firing I suppose. Down the road I'm getting another pair of these in a different color. Just a great comfortable fit.

I really like these Danskos! I have been wearing Dansko clogs for 20 years and typically wear a 39 however, after having kids they are too tight across the top but the 40 is too big. These fit perfectly in the 39. They are not tight across the top and fit well. They allow for heel lift as Danskos should. They do have that slightly upturned toe that newer Danskos have. I am not a huge fan of it but I am happy to have a well fitting pair of clogs again. I wish they made this style with the brown soles though.

The Dansko Piet is my absolute favorite shoe. I am very pleased this style is available again.The major difference between the Professional (their flagship style) and the Piet is there isn't a padded area across the top of the foot. The Piet seems to fit a bit looser than the Professional. I typically wear a size 37 but in the Piet I wear a size 36. The elastic gusset makes the shoe more comfortable (in my opinion). I will order several pair. I only wish the style was available in more colors.

Wonderful, classic Dansko clog-style shoe! Both the leather on top of the shoe, and the platform of the shoe, have a firm, structured feel. And like the classic Dansko clog, you are meant to have a little bit of a loose feeling when wearing a Dansko clog. The first shoe salesperson (at REI) who fitted me in Danskos (many years ago) said, "Don't worry, you are not going to 'walk out' of this shoe, even though it seems like it fits more loosely than any other shoe you've worn." I trusted her, and she was right! I tried the Piet shoe (from Zappos) in a 39 and a 40, and the 40, which is the size have always worn, felt best. The 40 feels "pretty darn loose" versus the 39 which feels "a little bit loose." But after walking around in them for just a few minutes, I knew that the "really loose" 40 had that correct, proper Dansko sizing.

I've ordered from Dansko numerous times and their sizing is way off. I ordered the6.5-7 and they were way too big. Buy a size smaller than you would normally wear!

I've discovered the secret to Danskos is going a bit large, so the heel has space to move. I like this style because the vamp comes higher on the foot so it's great with pants. Really cute style with typical Dansko comfort.

Correct size but way too loose for my narrow foot. Also quite heavy. Well made and highly recommended by friends, but not to my liking.

I am having problems with the sizing. Usually wear a 40 in dansko. In this shoe it was tooooo large. Ordered 1/2 size down. It was toooo small. So, going with my ole favorite 'the professional'!

Super comfortable right out of the box! I tried really hard to keep these shoes. Unfortunately, like with many clogs, my pants kept getting caught between the back of my foot and the shoe. I even bought some new pants that were longer to see if they would work, but same problem. I really wish I could keep these!

Found I needed a size smaller for my usual 6.5 fit. Great exchange service by Zappos to get smaller size. Fit and comfort are good, but not as good as my previous brown Ariat clogs.
