I just received this shoe in taupe. The style, color and workmanship are great, but the strap is too long and can't be adjusted tight enough to fit my foot, plus the box of the shoe has extra height leaving a gap at the top of my foot. I have at least a dozen pair of Ahnu shoes, which is the brand I wear most of the time, but sadly I will have to return this one.

I adore this shoe! The arch support is moderately comfortable, which is pretty good for me since I have plantar fasciitis. I could walk and stand for half a day in these shoes, probably. They're really well made and elegant looking, which I would think is difficult for a cork-soled shoe. Somehow the Ahnu people pulled it off, though. Cute toe, gorgeous taupe color, soft, comfortable leather. The style even looks good on my "athletic" calves. Amazing! Here's the reason I'm (regretfully) returning them: there's suction created between my foot and the footbed of the shoes. Every time I take a step, there's a suction sound. I imagined what it would be like to wear them anyway and maybe no one would notice. But then I imagined myself making little sucking noises all the way down the hall, and thought better of it.

Cute shoe but the ankle strap rubs the outside of my ankle bone. Otherwise shoe is very comfy. The discomfort from the strap is a deal breaker. These are going back. Otherwise, I love Ahnu.

It was a half size too big.

Lovely shoes but run large in length - probably about a half size. The terra cotta color is very pretty, not too red or too orange, but the mesa taupe which is like a dark grey with green undertones which just works better on dirty NYC streets!

Comfortable straight out of the box! I was amazed that these didn't rub anywhere on the first day of wearing them. I wouldn't say these are dainty, as the toe box is bigger than on other dress shoes, but it's not so large that it's noticeable, like the toe on Keen shoes. The sole is well cushioned and supportive and the hook-and-loop closure is easy to manipulate. I like that these are covered enough to wear to work but open enough that my feet don't get sweaty and uncomfortable by the afternoon. One thing I have not yet tested is the stink factor. I had a pair of Ahnu Tulia flats and they got too gross to wear. Those, however, were vegan uppers with what appeared to be a microfiber footbed. These are leather with a cork footbed, so fingers crossed I don't have to toss them.

Best summer shoe ever! I wear this everyday. I purchased the gray and oak ones and wear them to work, while biking to work, walking around town... It's super comfortable and versatile enough to wear it casually as well as slightly more formal or professional occasions. After two summers of heavy use, it shows some wear but has held up really well. A bonus is that the gray ones at least have held up well in wet conditions, and while they're not waterproof because they're sandals, it's not damaged after heavy rain. The oak ones have a more supple material that I would not try to subject to the elements.

Soooooo comfortable! The best dress shoe I've gotten in quite some time. I'd surely recommend this shoe to others. Honestly tho the price is a tad high.

These are fabulous! As comfy as my sneakers, but way more breathable and work appropriate. The toe felt a little big to me, but it feels nice when walking around. If they had a 6.5 in stock I might have exchanged to try and see if it fit better, but alas they did not and 7s were super comfy anyways so I'm keeping them! Way more stylish than the other ahnu flats I tried!!

Finally a shoe where functionality meets style. I bought these for an extended weekend outdoor wedding. I want to be able to walk in the grass with the fear of ruining my shoes. The Ahnu's live up to their Celtic Goddess namesake! These look great. I am all about simplifying and plan to clear the closet of my $200 shoes that don't hold up to my active life style! Thank you Ahnu for another winner!

I bought these to wear at work. I can stand in them all day without my feet aching. The leather is really soft and the foot bed is comfortable. They feel nice and wide and let my feet breathe!

I love these shoes, and actually just ordered my third pair! Very comfortable and have received many compliments on them. The taupe go with everything.

At first I thought my normal size of 7.5 would be perfect for this shoe, but after trying it on a few times, I realized the 7.5 was too big, got the 7 and it is perfect. Because the toe bed is so big a half size smaller worked for me.

Ordered a half size too big but nbd, awesome Zappos let me exchange and I received my perfectly fitted sandals the very next day. Love them. Wore them for hours the first day. Thank you Zappos!

Cute shoes, true to size, usually wear 7.5 and they fit perfectly, VERY comfortable with a cushiony insole.

Finding sandals is always hard for me because I like to wear closed toe shoes. These are going to be great. The Mesa Taupe color is beautiful yet neutral enough to go with lots of outfits. The cork insole is very comfortable. The toe box is very roomy so I can see why some reviews say to size down, but I ordered my regular size and I think the extra room will make them cooler in the hot weather. The strap keeps them from being too loose and while others have mentioned that the strap hits them in the wrong place it fits me just fine. I think this is one of those cases where you'll just have to try them to see. With Zappos simple return policy there's no reason not to try! One note- I do notice the squeak in the sole that others mentioned. Hope that goes away.

These are my new favorite shoe for spring and summer. So much classier than a standard flip flop. It goes with so many outfits. Plus they are super comfortable! My toes have lots of room and are not constricted at all. Plus I get so many compliments! I highly recommend these!

These shoes are amazing! Very comfortable, and i got lots of complements on them. I read the reviews that said to size down so I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear but they were too small. I ended up with my normal size and they were perfect. I also have very wide fee, so if you have narrow feet sizing down a half size might be necessary.

Ordered these days before arriving to a trade show. Right out of the box, these were super comfy and didn't require any breaking in. I wore them for 3 straight days, 8+ hours, walking around the trade show floor with zero discomfort. Love these shoes. I ordered the red stone color. They are a bit redder than the picture depicts, but they are a cute pop of color. Likely going to order these in another color. Because of the adjustable velcro strap, I am able to wear these with my narrow feet.

Love these - they are very comfortable. They go with everything. The only complaint is that they squeak a bit when I walk. I think it is just because they are not broken in yet.

I love these shoes! However, they rub on my ankle bone so I will be returning them. :(
