I had my Salomon boots before and this pair is my second one. My feet are quite small and normally can't find a right pair at the local store. The boots have been great fit and very good sole for scrambling too. I wonder if Salomon changed the inner heel support (cushion) though. I like it better before. I really recommend Salomon boots! These are the greatest pair I have ever own. Thanks, Salomon

Lightweight, but sturdy. Fairly short break-in period compared to other boots I've owned. Tried and true on several terrain and distance trips- from the Salkantay Trek in Peru (rain forest and scree) to our weekly 14er endeavors in Colorado, and supportive enough even for our week-long backpacking trip through Canyonlands National Park. They've held up for over 300 miles of hiking over three months, and show no signs of giving up any time soon. Completely waterproof, and truly aggressive in grip and terrain handling. I'm extremely picky when it comes to gear, and I'm truly impressed with these boots!

1 month old boots, I started using my boots immediately after I got them, and for the first hike I carried an extra boots with me for just in case, I already added 50 miles and I found them comfortable since day one, this boots are ready to use wasn't necessary to break them in.

These boots are the best! Comfort and support. I have bad ankles and this really supports them. I can wear these all day and be pain free at the end of the day because of the support

I purchased these about 3 months ago and am very pleased with them. They were comfortable from day 1 and I have done 10 hour hikes in them with no blisters etc. My only criticism is the laces are so long I have to tie them several times.

The lightweight books are great for hiking especially in raining Oregon.

Bought my first Solomon boot 3 years ago on recommendation. Since then, I have not looked elsewhere. I was so impressed with my first pair that I wanted a second pair as a backup! I put a lot of heavy, off- trail use into my boots and the last thing I want to think about while I'm out there are my feet. The Ultra boot fit nicely right out of the box and required very little break in. They are light, fast and waterproof and do not disappoint. My previous boots were Keens, merrells and vasque. Solomon has won me over. Thanks for an excellent product!

So far I'm really liking this boot. They required very little break-in and I appreciate the higher ankle support and great tread. The light blue fabric wasn't the best choice as it got dirty immediately. I'm curious to see how long these boots last - my previous salomans have been comfortable, but not durable.
