I have wide feet and Skechers is one of the few brands that offer wide width shoes. This is my third afterburn which I wear almost daily. They are reasonably durable and comfortable. Since I wear it to work and I am on my feet a lot, I add Dr Scholl's gel insoles to make it more comfortable. This pair actualy has memory foam insoles and it feels good without gel insoles. You should give it a try.

When I first bought these shoes I felt they were more comfortable than almost any shoe I have worn due to the memory foam. I noticed the foam starting to move away from the heal area. A friend of mine had the exact same issue with the exact same shoe. (after a month of use maybe) I pulled up the foam near the heal and restuck it again to the heal which fixed the issue!! It is an easy fix as the memory foam seems to be velcroed (or something similar) to the shoe. I would give it 5 stars but I gave it 4 because some people may not figure this out. (or they could have been designed not to slip at all?) Either way it is a great shoe, very comfortable and easy to fix when the foam slips. I just hope that I can do this again and again as needed for the life of the shoe.

I HAVE WIDE FEET AND A HARD TIME FINDING SHOES . USUALLY WIDE SHOES ARE NOT REALY THAT WIDE SO WHEN I SAW EXTRA WIDE I PURCHASED THEM. FIRST TIME EVER I SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH JUST WIDE . AT LEAST NOW I KNOW WHO MAKES A TRUE WIDE SHOE . THIS WILL MAKE MY NEXT PURCHASE EASY ...

Good fit and feels good the tongue is not padded very much so it it thin and folds over on itself when you tighted laces other then that really good shoe

I wish they in other styles in 16 wide. I only have one style to chose from in size 16 wide.

Seem like great shoes but after wearing them for a few days I realized they are too big. Contacted Sketchers about it but never got a response.

Bought over 30 shoes from Sketches over the years. For the most part they are the only shoes I wear for casual and work. Had bad experience with the shipping process. ( took about 3 weeks to receive them and needed them for a trip but did not make it in time). Love the shoes hate the delivery time. I will only buy if they are in the store moving forward.

The inside soles wore out very fast. Faster than any I have ever owned. They are also more comfortable than any I own so I guess I will have to buy more often than ever in my life.

They are okay but a bit heavy for my for my liking

The memory foam insert is permanently glued to the footbed. I cannot put my own shoe orthotic underneath the memory foam insert. This is a bad design

This shoe was suggest by customer service as a good replacement for Shape-ups (in White). After wearing them only briefly, I disagree. Nice shoe. I just need the extreme cushioning that the Shape-up has, and these do not.

I like my Skechers

I use this product for just walking. After walking approx. 2 miles, these sneakers stretch out to almost a full size bigger then what I bought them at. Now I have to wear 2 pairs of socks to make them fit better. I am sure they will stretch even more now until they fall apart. Not durable at all. I bought 2 pairs, this is not good.

My memory-foam inserts have worn out six-months after I bought the "After Burn" shoes. There's nothing wrong with the shoes themselves - it's just the inserts that are bad. Skechers doesn't sell just the inserts, so I am forced to buy another new pair of shoes. That's NOT good .... and would keep me from buying Skechers again. Why don't they sell just the memory-foam inserts ?!?!

Too bad the weight is so much. Once i got use to go walks i won't buy again. Only go walksfor me.

I bought it because it was one of the few shoes with an EE width.

I really expected them to not begin wearing out after 3 months of walking around and gardening.

I ordered these based on a suggestion from Skechers customer service as a replacement for my now 4 year old Walk Fit shoes (which are finally falling completely apart). The Walk Fit shoes have been my go to shoe since they came out, and nothing, not even these comes even close to the comfort. Specifically these hurt my back after walking on them for a day, and the arch support is no where close to the Walk Fit shoes. I will wear them on days when I am doing a desk day, but not for walking or when I have to be on my feet all day.
