AMAZING!!! I have abnormal feet. They are super wide, not my calves - just my feet. I'm also 5'1" - so boots can often bump in to my knee caps (totally sucks). But THESE are spectacular! The D-wide width is perfect! And the shift height is great for my shorter frame. I wish these were in stock in brown!

Bought these in brown, and they are the nice, cognac color, just like online. Beautiful boots, quality leather and very comfortable. I agree with the previous reviewer about the heel. I want to mention too, that I have wide calves, which is frequently a problem with boots. Since these don't cover the full calf, that was not a problem. Very glad I found these!

Loved the look and style of the boot. I wear a 10.5 in some shoes, this boot doesn't come in my size so I ordered it in a 10 which was too tight in the foot, then ordered an 11 which fit fine, but the shaft was too wide, even with jeans tucked in - I have thin calves so not a good look even with this stylish boot. Sorry to return.

I love this boot! It is the most comfortable boot I've had in a long time. I have one foot that is wider and has a bunion and the wider width worked perfect for my foot.

These boots get 5 stars for comfort. One reason they are so comfortable is that they fit my feet perfectly. I ordered the boots in my regular shoe size of 6 1/2 W and the size was perfect unlike the previous boots from another mfg which I returned. Very nice quality for a moderate priced boot. Like my mother always said "always wear good shoes and bras".

Let me start by saying I have troublesome feet. My ankles are narrow and I have a big painful bunion on my left foot. I was pleased to find that these were offered in wide width! I bought these in the beautiful brown color. These boots are comfortable straight out of the box (maybe the most comfortable boots I own!). Very happy with my purchase!

I have the Cobb Hill Ashlyn in both the brown and the black. They're not as tall (as in up to your knees) boot, but I prefer that for ease of motion. I ordered my usual 7M (I go a 1/2 size larger in boots) and they fit perfectly. The quality of the leather is quite nice and most of all these boots are super comfortable! Like right out of the box, put them on and go comfortable! I've received a lot of compliments on these boots. I am a Cobb Hill fan for life. Thanks Zappos for the incredibly speedy delivery. Ordered online and had them the very next day. Great service!

These boots are amazing! They are very comfortable, a gorgeous leather color, feminine and versatile to wear with dresses, leggings or pants. I am 5'2" and have medium calves. Knee high boots are too tall for me and I swim in wide calves. This shaft height and circumference are perfect. I had wanted Fryes but none of their styles fit perfectly for the price. I am so much happier with these!

This is a very cute and comfortable boot, however it took three pairs to find the right size for me. I have a default 8.5 medium sized foot, so ordered that size but found the width too tight. Since I liked the boot except for the cramped toes, I then ordered an 8.5 wide and a size 9 medium width. The 9 was comfortable but the toes were still cramped a bit. The wider 8.5 had a tad more room than I needed but it was the most comfortable, so I'm keeping that pair. While the shopping experience was a bit of a hassle, with Zappos fast delivery and excellent return policy, it was worthwhile in my search for the perfect boot. Hope this review assists others on a similar boot quest.

This is the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn, which is shocking because they also really look good. I teach at a law school and wear these with a wide mix of skirts (pencil skirts, flair, etc.). They look very polished and professional. One thing that's interesting: they don't click when you walk. Normally boots have a sort of click click "presence" about them, and these kind of pad along softly -- which is a surprise. But wow, they are comfortable.

I found the sizing inconsistent and that there were manufacturing defects in the boots - not the quality that I would expect from the price. I first purchased a pair in size 8 and a pair in size 8½ to see what fit. Both fit, but the 8½ was more comfortable. However, it had a defect- too much fabric at the bottom of the zipper inside, making it rub my foot. So I returned the 8 and exchanged the 8½. The new 8½ felt smaller than the original 8! It also had the same defect, though not as noticeably. So back it went and I found a different pair of boots at a local store.

Finally! A work-appropriate, good-looking, comfortable boot that flatters short women and fits narrow feet!!! I am so happy with these boots. As other reviewers noted, these boots run narrow, which is perfect for those of us with narrow feet. And the height is great--I'm 5'1" and most boots are way out of proportion for my legs. These are just right. I wore them to a conference right out of the box. I put them on early in the morning, spent a full day in them, and then walked to a restaurant and back. Later, when I was getting ready for bed in my hotel room, I realized I hadn't yet taken them off. So comfortable that I didn't do my usual return to the room and kick off my shoes routine!

I am a 7.5 W, it's hard to find footwear w support that looks fashionable. These boots are both. I like them a lot. Haven't worn them outside the house yet, but hopefully on NY's Day they will make their public debut. My only issue is that 1 calf seems tighter than the other. I like to run and work out, maybe 1 calf is bigger than the other, but I've never had this issue w boots before. Hoping it will stretch out over time. I have a high instep, wide feet, but these boots are comfortable. They're not too high on me, they come up to maybe 3/4 of my calf. Since I'm 4' 11.5" tall, super high boots would look ridiculous on me, so I like the proportion of the boot to my height.

Fits well. Comfortable to wear all day from the first wear. I can wear over leggings or boot cut jeans. Lots of space in calf, but not so much that it looks funny. My go-to boots

These boots are great if you are petite and have small calves. I wore them for several hours the first day and was on my feet many of those hours - no discomfort at all.

So comfortable, a little tight with a thicker sock, but will definately do well over time. the arch support felt almost a little too cushiony at first but after a few hours standing, I was still happy. These are definite keepers

I just got these today. I normally wear 8.5 narrow, which were out of stock, so I ordered 8.5 medium. Mistakenly, I was sent 8 medium. However, the error worked in my favor and they fit perfectly! I love this brand, as the shoes/boots are well constructed, fit my arch and are stylish without too high a heel.

Love love love these boots! The leather is so supple, and they are comfy to wear all day long. They look awesome with skirts and dresses. The reasonable but stylish heel makes these boots suitable even for longer walks over city sidewalks. Highly recommended!

Felt true to size and is very comfortable. I haven’t spent any time walking in these (because I have purchased these during the summer) but I expect them to be fine. I hope to purchase another pair in black once they are back in stock. Nice, simple design.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots!!! They are exactly what I have been looking for. They are just dressy enough to wear for a friday night out with friends, but also can dress down with jeans. I am very happy with how they fit - VERY COMFORTABLE.

The boots are snug without being uncomfortably tight. Which I like. I dont want to slip around in a boot when I walk. They are so comfortable and sure footed, not at all like walking in a heel. I can run in the rain in these, easily, without worrying about slipping like in most dress boots. They are stylish, but conservative. and lined, so they are warm with a long skirt which is a great winter look.

These boots are so comfy! My feet are difficult to fit due to bunions and hammertoes, but the soft leather of these boots make them work perfectly. I did order the wide. The regular size shaft has plenty of room to tuck in jeans on my 13" calves. The heel height adds a bit of style, but is still surprisingly easy to walk in, even in light snow. The style will work with both dresses and jeans. A real winner!
