Not super warm but I like them regardless. Wish they were thicker.

Wear these underneath my tights. My hip usually hurts when it is cold, I don't feel that pain when I wear these. They keep me pretty warm. I am a size 14, and the large fit fine. Wish they had pockets!

Well made, comfy Baselayer Tights! I am buying at the end of the season, which is the only reason I haven't given them 5 stars--they have been too warm to wear since I've gotten them. But I take the cold weather seriously, and needed to replace an old pair (different maker). I LOVE the feel of these so far, and it is clear that they are expertly constructed and will last a good long while.

I love these tights, but for one issue. The waist band is made of a strong stretchy one-layer material that has a sharp edge. With a longer wear, this edge is not very comfortable. Were this waist band enclosed in the fabric that the rest of the tights is made of, these would be absolutely PERFECT.

These are very comfortable and true to size but I would not consider them heavyweight. Unfortunately, I was still cold skiing in the 20's with ski pants over them.

I love these base layer pants. I bought the mid-weight base layer pants about a year ago, and when pulling them up the top seam ripped. They were really comfy and warm so I went to the next level of heavy weight. I highly recommend, but don't pull up by the waistband.

Much thinner than we would have anticipated. Can't really wear them on their own unless running, but have kept my wife's legs from getting too cold on walks, as an underlayer. Says they are pretty comfy and the omniheat on these isn't uncomfortable and still allows for flexibility.

I was a little skeptic after reading some of the reviews about size. The pants did not shrink.
I've worn under my scrubs and did not get warm.

Very comfy and flattering at the same time.
I found them to run slightly large. Purchased the large exchanged for a med and it fits better. Not cold enough to wear outside yet but I am looking forward to seeing how they hold up to the cold.

These are a great fit but I wish hey came in a petite length. I am 5'3" and they are at least 4" too long. This same comment applies to base layer tops. I haven't worn them in the cold yet so I am not sure how warm they are but I have always been super comfy in omni-heat.

These are definitely warm, which was my chief requirement as an outdoor runner in Chicago. The insulating material is somewhat metallic, however, so it's not the most comfortable thing against your skin. I wear them with a super thin base layer under them, these tights as a mid-layer, and then maybe an outer layer as well if it's bitter cold, and that has worked well.

I wore these baselayer leggings in the desert on a 30 degree night under some hiking pants and they did a great job keeping me warm. They seemed a little thinner then I thought they would be since they are advertised as a heavyweight baselayer but they did great at keeping the heat in. I am 5'6" & 139 lbs and they are plenty big on me. I did not want them super tight and restrictive. They were a little long so if you are taller, they should be fine.

Super warm baselayer for cold weather adventures. My only complaint is that the material for the waist elastic is a little itchy. By the end of the day, I don't usually notice it anymore, so for me, the warmth and breathability these provide outweigh the initial irritation. Definitely recommend these, plus I love the color.

Besides the Omni-heat factor to keep you warm, I like the way they fit. They don't strangle your waist & they have the length to cover your legs all the way down to your ankles!

I got to test out this pants at a 4 degrees weather, and I must say I was still pretty cold. Out of all my thermals, this one is my favorite because it's not baggy and sticks to your body. Make sure to layer with other warm pants. I learned these pants are perfect in a 30 degrees weather. I should also note that I'm glad I got a medium and not a large. I'm 5 ft , 142 lbs.

I needed a pair of running/hiking tights for early winter days and these leggings are pretty great. The fit is nice - I'm 5'5, 138 lbs, and am normally a small in workout gear but often a medium in base layers. I ordered the small and they fit great - not too tight. And they hold their shape after multiple wears. They don't stay *quite* as warm as I want them to, but do good if you're out and moving down to about 40 degrees. 30-40 they'll keep you warm enough, but your thighs will be a little cold. I imagine they'd make a pretty good base layer under another wind blocker.

I am a fairly petite person at 5'1" with a slender frame. I was worried these would be more spandex-y, so I purchased them in a small. On the contrary, they're much less fitted than I imagined, so they're actually a little too roomy on me. If you're on the petite side and want a tight that hugs your body more to retain heat, I'd say to go down a size. Otherwise, very comfy and warm!

I bought these to wear under warmer clothes when outside for extended periods of time in the winter. Unfortunately in Wichita, we have had a very mild winter so I can't rate them based on warmth. However, they are super comfortable and I find myself wearing them around the house for casual and comfort wear.

I only weigh about 110 lbs and ordered an XS. Even with jeans on top of them, they still rode down some. The ankle is hard to get over my heel because of being so tight. Maybe that tightness in the lower leg is what pulls them down? Who knows...
I will still use them in cold weather but always under something else to help keep them up. I hate being cold and have thoroughly enjoyed my Omni-Heat lightweight jacket that I bought last year.

My legs are always cold with the base layer. Thinking these were heavyweight so maybe I won't be cold. I only tested them under my fleece lined hiking pants to the dog park and I was freezing. Please keep in mind I was standing and not walking. Hope this helps. They feel good and heavy as to my base layer for sure.

Tights are well constructed but not as warm as the word "heavyweight" conveyed.

I ordered this pants because I thought they were really heavyweight, they are very thin and although they make tiii warm, are not enough for New England cold.
