Own 6 pairs of La C boots- very stylish but not always very comfortable. La C finally added spongy padding to Janna foot bed, though not as plush as other brands I've tried. Am petite with muscular calves, Janna has a good fit, may be a bit wide for narrow calves. Boot cut slighter lower in back, creating flattering look. Suede has a close, fabric like fit which I find more complementary on the leg than leather. Buckle a nice touch, looks elegant against black tights.

After trying on a number of La Canadienne boots, I came back to these which were the first I tried! They are just a little tight in the calf. But I decided that the comfort of the square toe, just right heel, and sharpness of the boot made up for it! Kudos to Zappos for carrying a wide selection of narrow shoes. I would be lost without you!

Absolutely loved these boots. Very versatile. Can be dressed up or down. And comfortable to boot! Unfortunately, even with a narrow calf these were too tight with a legging. Will try others in this brand.

This is such a lovely and elegant boot! La Canadienne got this one right. I have another pair of their boots that are cute but not comfortable. This one is comfy out of the box and fits true to size. I spend my day on my feet and the foot bed and heel height are perfect for all day support. They are easy to get on even with my muscle-bound runners legs.

A great boot that looks stylish for business wear, but is comfortable enough for lots of winter walking. La Canadienne has a way of tapering boots so that feet look a bit smaller. Every woman appreciates this. Very warm outdoors, but somehow aren't too hot when you wear them in the office all day. Heel height gives some lift, but is very solid. This is the best winter boot manufacturer, IMHO. A quality product all the way. Not overpriced for what you get, and how durable they are. Only complaint is that treads on sole could be more pronounced, better for walking on ice.

These are unbelievably comfortable and cute. They are a little dressier for skirts but still work with jeans. I have such a hard time finding stylish shoes that I can wear all day, and these are marvelous. I will be bringing them on a business trip this weekend to Chicago-I can't wait to wear them. Fits true to size. Expensive, but worth it!

Truly amazing! So comfortable and so stylish. I've never spent this much on boots, but they are worth every penny. Wish they offered other colors!

Beautiful and comfortable right out of the box! I bought them for travel, to wear in cool weather. I didn't even need to break them in. Gorgeous - worth the money.
