Once i got the Gryson flannel I couldn't take it off. Since acquiring it, several people have commented on the look and feel of this piece!
I used this piece during a cooler morning 14er hike, and didn't overheat the whole time. I also wore this backpacking during a recent trip to Grand Teton National Park and the piece kept me cool and comfortable the whole time under a variety of conditions.
What I also like about this piece is that it is a "do all" piece. If you are not in the mountains, you can still dress it up with a nice pair of slacks for work. One thing I did notice is that the piece fit bigger when I bought it, but once I gave it one wash it fit better.

I've had three of these for over a year now and they have held up famously. This year I got the Admiral Shadow color to have some variety. The blue in that color is leaning towards and purple/indigo which you can't see on the website. Very unique coloration.
I can't speak highly enough for this product.

I am a Large size in most (or all) Arcteryx garments and also in this case..., trim but fit well (depending your waist...), perfect to wear with thin base layer also..., a three season shirt..., I have to colors and I really like both.

I reciebed the Thallus today- it is already my favorite. The coloring is so great, and the fit is Arc'teryx perfect. I am writing this review ONLY hoping they bring back Cedar. I will buy the moment i can :)

Arc'teryx, please bring this shirt back next year. Looks like almost all of them are out of stock for this year. Big success with this shirt, I will buy more!

I love this shirt, got it for Christmas as a gift. The cost is a bit high but that is how it goes with Arc'teryx. Wear it around town and at work. So dressy enough for work and play. Great fit and feel of the material. Overall great product! I am 6'1 and weigh 175 and a medium fits amazing.

This is one great flannel shirt, trim but not binding at all. A vest or jacket slips over it with ease. I got the Thallus colour and the yellow on the website photo is actually more of an orange but I think it looks every better. I'm 6' 2" 190 lbs and the large fits terrific. The sleeves and shirt tail are a little longer for on the bike too.

I'm very happy with the quality of the shirt and have no reservation about recommending it. The only thing is that the true colour bears only a passing resemblance to any pictures that you'll see online.

This is a good shirt, but the hand of the fabric is more tight and smooth like a dress shirt rather than fuzzy and soft like I would expect from something called flannel.
It also feels less warm than I was expecting based on the flannel description.

This shirt looks great, feels warm, and contains no cotton. It is definitely larger/looser than I would like, but that may just be the style for flannels.

Overall, I enjoy the look and feel of this shirt. Hoping to see a broader color scheme selection. I'm 6 foot tall and estimate the standard length of the shirt and sleeves will fit most tall size individuals. I suggest adding an inside cell phone pocket to maintain the current style and you see the shirts fly off the internet racks! Best part is the shirts wash and wear for any occasion!!!

This is a great shirt, looks very strong, great fit (I'm 185cm, 83kg, M is perfect). After getting the blue one, I quickly ordered an other kind, it's so good. The problem is that the colour is way off of the website for the "Dark Moss" one. The blue one was already darker than the picture, but this is far from yellow, more dark brown actually. Yellow-ish would be better, but I won't return. (Nevertheless, colour correction is not that hard, should be considered more important.)

I love Arcteryx great quality, fit, feel. But on this purchase, I didn't get what I was expecting. The color didn't match the website. I got the Dark Moss Centaur and it was much more brown than gold. Not a big deal, but I was trying to match it to other things in my wardrobe. Still love Arcteryx. This is a nice cool weather flannel like shirt.

This is a more of a question than a review to the Menswear's Shirt Designer(s) in the Arc'1:
Why are the 2 chest pockets so short when it actually has more than enough space to just fit in a standard size chest pocket like every other shirt?

I got this shirt and loved it, until I turned around and saw the branding, and then I had to return it. Can you guys PLEASE remove your logo from the back of this shirt? It's *way* too big for this type of shirt and sits in this weird position (in the top center of the back) that someone over there probably thought was bold, but in reality, when paired with the fabric looks sloppy, like the tailor botched the shirt.
Your Capive SS shirt does it very well, with a *small* logo patch near the pocket that looks inconspicuous, especially for the occasions where I would want to wear this shirt. Do that, and I would gladly buy it again. Everything else seems great!
