I buy this brand and style every time. Love them. Use them for running, walking and at the gym. Very comfortable and love this new color.

My podiatrist recommended this shoe. I think it runs a little narrow. I usually have no problem with medium width shoes. The shoe is a mesh fabric so I have been able to stretch it somewhat. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Seems like a nice shoe but fit felt full size small and width too, despite ordering in Wide. But that is why I stick with Zappos, I can return or exchange for free!

These shoes were highly recommended by my orthotist as being very supportive, but they ran a bit narrow for me - and I have narrow feet. I could have exchanged them for a wide - and maybe half a size longer too, but went with a pair of Drew sneakers instead since they are made specifically for big orthotics like mine.

These are not as comfortable as the Kayano 21. They do have good arch support. Many reviews said these run small. I did not find that to be true. I feel they run true to size.

They do run narrow as others have said but I have a really narrow foot so they feel great on me. I haven't run in them yet and I'm normally a Brooks fan but I'm giving these a try. And Zappos, you are awesome.

Like others have said, this is narrower and shorter than the previous Kayano models I have owned. I wear a wide and this was not wide in the toe box.

I like these sneakers except for the toe area. Too narrow. I have a medium width foot and these hurt my toes after wearing them for a long period of time. I would have returned them but I was hoping to break them in, no luck...

I have been wearing Kayanos for years. I never try them on; I just order the same size when they wear out. The new Kayano 22 is at least a 1/2 size smaller than the previous Kayanos. I'm not sure why they changed the shoe. It was perfect the way it was. Returning for a larger size.

Note to Asics: What have you done to the Kayano? I have worn Asics aproximately 20 years and I have worn the Kayanos about 15 years, per foot doctor's recommendations. Just bought the Medium Kayamo 22 and they are narrower in the foot bed. This is a real problem for me and I dread having to find another shoe to replace the shoe that has always fit so well....until now. Hope you get this message.

I will go ahead with the bad first. I need wide shoes and I have a pair of wide Asics that are amazing, so I assumed that these would be amazing too. These are not true wide shoes. I have not decided if I am going to return them or keep them hoping that they will stretch a bit. For the good, they are very cute shoes, I love the colors. The gel is super comfortable on the bottom of my feet. Overall this is a quality pair of shoes, but if you need wide beware.

Asics is the only shoe I can buy and wear right out of the box, the only shoe that I can get in a 2A. Of course, they only make about four of each so selecting a color I actually like is not an option. I was shocked when I received my 12AAs this time and they were too short! I called Asics and was told they had changed their sizing and I would just have to get a bigger size. Had to send these back and get a 12.5 you can imagine how few options there are. When I pay this much for shoes I would at least like to think they look good.

The Asics Gel-Kayano 22 is the most comfortable for me in the Asics brand that I have tried, although the price is very high. In fact, the price is higher than the better made shoe, Brooks Adrenaline. The Brooks line seems to have a "disagreement in sizing" presently. In the past, Brooks made Adrenaline 13 and 14 that were absolutely perfect for me and true to size, but I read that now, their sizing is confusing, offering a smaller shoe with previous stated sizes. Why would they do this? Over the past years, I have ordered six pairs of the Brooks Adrenaline, but now I am not interested in playing with the struggle of different sizing. They have lost a customer. Thank you, Asics for offering Women's size 12½ and 13 in several styles. This has really helped me in comfort. I have ordered two pairs in a women's size 12½ of the Asics Gel-Kayano 22 successfully and am looking forward to some good hiking with these (I do not run). They have great support, bouncy insoles and are narrow enough to fit my long, narrow foot. Unfortunately, I do not expect them to last as long as my Brooks shoes did, but I am still happy. In general, I do not like the exotic coloring of running shoes. I do love buying through Zappos, though. Thank you, Zappos!

This shoe is very narrow. I have worn asics for years and have purchased a wide width as I find that asics runs a little narrow. However the wide width in this shoe is more narrow than a standard width in other models. The cushion and arch support are awesome in this shoe; so I'm keeping and will break in.

Great cushioning especially in the heels. Toe box is more narrow than the Cumulous I previously bought. I had to go up a 1/2 size for that reason. They give good support and stability.

My Kayano 20s are finally falling apart, and because I love them so much I decided I would suck up the cost and get some 22s. So glad I did! I have narrow feet and these actually fit me somewhat better in that respect. They are as cushy as ever, and so comfortable. The only negative is that they really need a bit more reinforcement on the side where the pinkie toe rubs, because that's where I always end up with a hole. Other than that they're perfect!

Pleasantly Surprised! I was very skeptical in ordering the 22s! I have been a loyal Kayano runner since around #15! Having said that, my favorite Kayano was the 22- what a dream! I normally wear an 8 average in all shoes but in my running sneaks, I do a 9 wide (again, always Kayano). After reading the reviews about the narrow toe box and "feels smaller than marked" fit, I decided to order a 9.5 wide. It felt a bit more snug than usual, but I wasn't sure if it just wasn't broken in. I agree, the cushioning on the 22 is great. I was concerned it was too cushiony. Wrong! My first run was 5 miles and my feet felt great! I didn't feel they were snug or narrow at all. Before my Kayanos many years ago, my feet would rub/irritate and I was petrified it would happen again after spending $160. These were great. I am however glad that I ordered a 1/2 size bigger than my usual Kayano. One last thing I noticed (and liked)... In previous models, there was a seam that ran across the "bunion" area of feet. There is no seam here on the 22. Go for it but consider upping it a 1/2 size.

I have owned Kayano's for many years. I was disappointed in the re-design of the 22. I ended up having to go up a half size from my usual. The toe box seems more narrow and this is from someone with a narrow foot! The half size seems to work but not quite as perfect as previous models; however, it's not off enough to send me on an endless search for the perfect running shoe!

In the past I have loved this shoe. I have bought ASICS Kayanos for years. Six months ago I had a sizing problem and had to go to a Wide, which I'd never done before. This time when I ordered the same size, I had to go up another 1/2 size in length. The shoe still didn't fit well. I also ordered the Sarcony Omni 14, which I decided to try instead. This ASICS seems to have a curvature from heel to do and the Sarcony tends to keep the foot straight. I am very disappointed that the ASICS have declined in quality in the last few years.

These aren't my favorite sneakers but they are excellent quality and the cushioning is pretty good. I'm not sure the value is there because for the money I expected a bit more. My Brooks Ghost seemed to have better cushioning and was less expensive. I will definitely go back to Brooks for my next sneaker purchase.

This is my third pair of Asics but my first try with the Kayano - I always bought the Cumulus. Kayano is very cushioned and comfortable. It has a narrower profile than the Cumulus, especially in the toe box. It definitely feels more snug and seems to run smaller than the Cumulus, in which I wear an 8 (my non-sneaker shoe size is 7 to 7½). But I kept the size 8 Kayano and will just wear thinner athletic socks. These gel Asics have been great for aerobic workouts and walking/running.

I have worn a couple different models of the Asic Gels over the years. First time for Kayano. I wear 4½ medium shoe, take a 5 medium in other Asics sneakers, and found these Kayano 22 in a 5 medium were snug in width and short in length. The toe box was cramped pinching big toes and squeezing toes into a narrowed toe box. The big toes hit the top of the shoe box as well. The fit does not seem to be accurate for me. I am in process of exchanging the usual 5 medium Asics Kayano for a 5½ medium Asic Kayano 22. I just returned a pair of Vionics sneakers in a 5 medium as too much room in toe box, and severely irritated and inflamed my medically diagnosed heel spur. Zappos is a wonderful company to deal with, however at this holiday time of year I have more to do than to buy sneakers online and keep returning to try out a new size. I think the Asic Company needs to address these complaints and fix this model shoe. Great arch support. But the width, length and toe box do not seem to be a problem for me.

I always buy the same shoe in the same size when I find one that I like and this has been my shoe even when it has updated versions. I have wide feet and wear a 10W women's and they have changed the shape of the toe box so it is too narrow. Bummer as I do not know what I will wear now. I am trying a 9 mens in the same shoe or looking for older versions that are still around.

The color is a bit brighter than I was expecting, but these shoes are really supportive for people like me with plantar fasciitis. The bottom is strong and stable and the shoes are pretty lightweight compared to other shoes that help with plantar fasciitis. The shoes run a little big. I am normally a size 8½-9 in women's but had to get an 8. I have tried a few other brands that are supposed to be good for support (like Brooks) but I have noticed that my feet feel much better in Asics. I will continue buying these shoes for a while.
