Overall a great pack with some awesome features. But really really disappointed they started sending packs without rain covers. Feel like they are trying to make an extra buck. Please don't become that comany that nickel and dimes customers. Bring back the rain covers.

I'm with Bob from Ocala about the fit around the waist. I'd give this three and half stars if half stars were possible.
I bought a size L because it felt right when I tried the pack on at the store and walked around with 20 pounds or so in the pack. But I have now taken the pack on three backpacking trips (each a full week long), and invariably I feel like I'm carrying the weight all on my back and shoulders and hardly any on my hips.
My waistline is around 32" and I end up pulling the belt straps as tight as they will go -which also means that I have about a foot or more of loose strap on each side which I end up tucking into the belt pockets. Feels fine at first, but once I've been hiking for five minutes I can feel that it has slipped.
In short I wouldn't recommend this pack to anyone with a waistline under 34 inches. Above that, you may be okay.

I just bought this pack.
I tried on a lot of packs and decided to get this one. It is a great pack. fits all my gear. It is light weight.
There is only 1 problem with it. It squeaks. And it is at the right side hip. The left side doesn't squeak. it squeaks when I don't have anything in it and it squeaks when I have all my gear (35lbs or 16kg) in it.
I looked online and only found 1 reviewer stating the there was a squeaking noise, so I thought I was just the unlucky one that got a squeaking one. I went back to the store where I purchased it to see if it was just my bag. It was not, the other bag squeaked on the right side, but the left side didn't as well. The salesperson stated that they will contact Osprey to see about this, but I just wanted to get others experiences on this.
Is this just part of the new suspension system because the fabric is too taut and is rubbing up against each other and the fact that most of it is hollow amplifies the sound? Does this sound go away eventually?
I really like this bag, but I think I have to return it because the sound would bother me on a multiday hike.

I carried 10 Kg at minimum, and 20 Kg at maximum.
The first impression for me is the backsystem web, if a link is broken I think it will lead to broke another links next to it and another links next to another links, just like chain reaction, until the whole 'Anti-Gravity' thing gone, and you have to buy a new one because its backsystem failing. Don't want that to happen, maybe Osprey can made the backsystem from a stronger fabric, for example: Dyneema.
The zipper at the hipbelt pockets does snags, sometimes. The hipbelt pockets are too small, I believe Osprey can make it bigger just like with Xenith does. I don't mind extra few hundred grams for Atmos AG improvement, since it's not an ultralight carrier for thru-hikers. It is a backpacker/trekker carrier extended trips.
This is my 5th carrier, after Eiger 35, Deuter Futura 55, Deuter AirContact 65 and the last previous one was Osprey Xenith 75.
Cause it's virtually impossible for me to bear more than 22 Kg loads in more than 7 days. So I replace my Xenith with this one.
And there's no separated partition for hydration just like Xenith does. It is important. Imagine if our hydration bladder incidentally broke/leak and its water flood inside, and make everything wet? Especially clothes and sleeping bag... Duh... High possibility it will be anyone's nightmare while camping.
I believe Osprey will soon release the improvement version of Atmos AG, I hope that we can exchange our Atmos AG with the next-to-release-one.

disappointed that there is no rain cover included with this pack as just about every other pack in this price range does have one included.

This is a top-loading bag, with not so smooth zippers or draw cord, with to much thin mesh on the top of each side of the flat lying waist belt that must plane pulled out to fit your waist on each use. The owner's manual is online, harness adjustment takes a lot of time once I figured out levers are to be pulled down and do not lock. I have read nothing but good things about Osprey standing behind products, which is what lead me to this pack, but with waist belt pocket zippers that are not easy to close one-handed and far to much mesh on top of the waist belt that is super thin, I sent back this bag in the box it came in, that looked more the size of a tiny house.

I used this pack heavily, and I cared for it really well, honestly, I loved it! This is one of the best packs I've ever put on ever and I never really regretted my purchase! Until about a month back when I was transiting from Gili Meno to Bali, and the handlers on the boat threw my pack into a pile and the buckle for the top lid on the front broke off. Now this isn't a big problem, things break and I've used it for more than a year of travel.
The only issue is that I've moved over to Singapore, and although Osprey packs are sold here, there are no distributors on the scene! I kindly sent an email to them, explaining my situation, needing a new buckle part to repair the pack on my own (it is a simple job, and I knew how to do it), because the pack uses the proprietary buckle which I can't seem to find anywhere else here. I offered to cover the cost for shipping, and even to just buy the buckle off them, but alas, a day passed, several days passed, mailtrack on Gmail marked the mail as "read", a week passed, my patience waned, I needed to fix my buckle before my upcoming trip to Nepal in a few months! I start getting desperate, so I went on Facebook to voice my concerns, and guess what? No reply there too (surprise surprise).
For a big name company, that really is some disappointing service on their end. It's a shame too, because I was really hyped for the Osprey Aether (it just looks so cool! And it comes in 70l!), but I guess I would not be buying from Osprey after this horrendous experience! Probably would look at some other brands and hope they uphold their warranty better than Osprey...
TLDR: If you move to a country where Osprey has no offices, watch out! They won't entertain you!

Have you fixed this creaking noise yet?? It's Aweful and unacceptable on a bag of this price/category - Whats the deal with Warranty in South Africa regarding a noise like this that only comes from taking the bag out a good few times...

Let me start off by saying that I Love Osprey packs. When I started reading reviews about the atmos with the ag suspension system I was so excited to try this pack. I actually bought the 50 and the 65. Within a few days I received the pack from a reputable company. On time and in perfect condition.
I loaded the 65 with moderate weight and volume to try out the feel.
It immediately felt uncomfortable. The pack felt like it was too far off my back. I couldn't get it to settle onto my hips right. It also put my back in a weird position and caused a slight pain in my back.
I thought maybe I was over reacting and I'm doing something wrong. So for a few days I would try to adjust the pack and try it out again. With no resolution to my issues I ended up sending back both packs. I then got the Aether 60 with no ag suspension. Love my new choice. Pack feels perfect and I'm happy with the Aether. I hope this review helps osprey and its customers. Fantastic company and packs. I am just not a fan of this particular pack.
