I am a jazzercise (high impact fitness) instructor and beat up my shoes. These are great for shock-absorption as well as the lateral movements. I often buy volleyball shoes for teaching (such as Asics or Mizuno) but these Rykas are much lighter weight.

I am a runner and bought these sneakers to wear for cross training. I wanted a sneaker that would provide good stability as I pronate. Out of the box, I have been very happy with my choice. The sneakers are comfortable, provide good arch support as well as lateral stability. The cushioning is the right amount for my comfort level. I ordered a 7.5, which is my usual size, and found them to be just right.

Love these shoes. Very comfortable day one. No breaking in required. I wear them to jazzercise and they feel great.

I purchased these sneakers for studio/gym training classes (step, weight training etc.) they are perfect for me. Terrific arch support, great pivot on the toe box, and the heel is just plain heaven in step class when I come down hard on my foot. Leave it to Ryka to design the perfect studio shoe which surprisingly is difficult to find these days, most brands cater to the running shoe market. I must have tried three different brands before I got my Ryka, and I am very pleased. If you are looking for a sneaker designed for gym and studio work, look no further! The fact that they have really cool styling and colors does not hurt either!

Great training shoe! I'm a runner and just starting doing HIIT and other workout videos at home for strength. My running shoes were a bit too much shoe, so I tried these. Loving them so far. Still provide support for weight training, but not clunky through the high-intensity aerobic exercises.

I normally wear a 10, and needed a 10.5 in this shoe. I purchased it to do Zumba on the concrete floors in my basement, and am very happy with it for the two weeks I've been wearing it. It has enough traction that I don't feel like I'm going to fall, but isn't so grippy that I feel like I'm going to blow out a knee. The cushioning is good too.

I love these Ryka sneakers. I purchased them last December in the black multi color for my Zumba classes as one cannot wear regular running/athletic sneakers for dance since you can injure your knees when making pivoting moves. I have had to bring them back and forth from my home in Massachusetts and Florida as I do Zumba in both locations. I decided recently to look again to see if Ryka offered other pairs so I can leave a pair at each of my homes. I was delighted to see the pastel style that I am pretty sure is a new color but same exact style and fit. I ordered them immediately and they arrived in two days! Can't wait to bring them to Florida and keep the darker colored pair at my home in Massacusetts! Also, I have had many compliments on my original pair and 3 of my zumba friends purchased them as well after seeing mine:)! Thank you Ryka....price is also more competitive compared to Zumba prices.

I do step aerobics in my living room 6 days a week and find that Ryka shoes are perfect for my old feet. I have no cartilage left in my big toes so i need shoes that are roomy in the toe box. Sometimes I need a wide width but sometimes I don't. I love this shoe. It is very light and springy and perfect for lateral movements and step. This shoe does not come in a wide width but the medium is just fine. i ordered my usual 9.5 and it fits great. I tried the Devotion first because of rave reviews but they did not work for me at all. Too tight in the toe box and the soles had weird springing pads that made me feel unsteady on lateral movements. Vida RZX i may need to order another pair before they quit making you.

I love these shoes! I'm really fussy and have trouble finding shoes that give me adequate support for working out. These have a wide enough footbed for my Morton toe, good arch support, good ankle support, and stays stable on my narrow heal. I have been wearing these for a couple of months now and are so satisfied that I bought a second pair for later use.

These are really cute shoes. However they smell really bad. I thought that once they were removed from the box they would smell better. Nope. They must go back

Ryka's are the only sneaker that I've found that fits my foot. I need the space across the ball of my foot and have a narrow heel. I was told by a PT that cross trainers would be better for my feet and back. I have been wearing Ryka's for years and love them. These are very comfortable and have a great arch support. I have orthotics and the heel cup is deep enough to accommodate them but I'm not sure I'm going to need them in these. I love that they're made from breathable mesh to keep my feet dryer than an all leather sneaker. I buy 2-3 pairs at a time to allow me to switch off and to keep a back up since models change. I wear a size 11 in the Ryka's and a size 10 in street shoes. I've purchased these in both colors. The only thing is I have to buy 54 inch replacement laces since I need to use the upper hole for the best fit but they aren't hard to find.

Great support for high impact cardio. Wear to jazzercise and they have held up well. (I also use my own orthotics for high arch and the insoles are removable...

I have had one other Ryka cross trainer before and am still wearing them for just errands even though they are no longer that great for the gym, but then it's been 3 years. They are comfortable and stylish although I would have loved even more overall color on the shoe rather than black mesh on the top. I work out at the gym with a combination of strength and toning classes and use the machines, and have been doing so for 36 years. Although I will be 75 in April I still go to the gym, and hike as well, usually once a week weather permitting. It's important to exercise at any age and the shoes on your feel not only support you literally they also, depending on the fit, support you in wanting to continue working out. The Ryka's are great for both.

I have been Jazzercising for over 6 years and every shoe I buy is Ryka. They're just the best. This shoe however, shines, great fit, great feel and wonderful working with Zappos, you guys rock.

I have been wearing Ryka's for several years. I buy certain ones based on other people's reviews. This shoe was no different only it is by far the most comfortable I have owned for the gym. Plenty of cushiness and support. Room in the tie to move around. I always buy a 1/2 size bigger in Ryka. Love this workout shoe. Planning on buying another pair in case Ryka discontinues.

I’ve worn Ryka for years. I ordered 2 other styles and both were too small or narrow. This one fits like my old ones. Bottom line- if your first Ryka doesn’t fit, try an other style as they are all different, which is good because all of our feet are different! This style has a great arch support which I needed and is not too narrow across toes.

I was reluctant to order on line but these are great. The colors, style, fit are all perfect for me. I workout a lot so will were them for the gym and Zumba. They are light and sturdy and the arch support is soft and is still firm enough. Love them!

I bought these shoes for step aerobics, they’re really comfortable and offer great support.

These shoes are VERY comfortable! I was able to workout with them on the first day. I wear an 8.5 and I had to go up a half size for them to feel perfect. I am going to buy a second pair!

I have been wearing these shoes to exercise classes at my gym daily for the past two weeks. They were very comfortable right out of the box. Great cushioning and love how they look. Highly recommend these for Zumba and other gym classes.

I typically wear an 8.5 running shoe so I ordered the same. It fit perfectly. I am using these for jazzercise and find it to be very flexible at the ball of the foot with good cushioning for dancing/jumping. So far, very pleased with the purchase.

Great shoe for Zumba! Excellent support at ankle; love Ryka generally but these are especially well designed for Zumba.

I love these shoes so far, have only had them for a few weeks. They are comfortable and light and easy to move in. I bought these because I have foot pain from high arches and my feet feel supported in these shoes. They re way better than expensive workout shoes that claim to have great support.
