This hat is super stylish and I thought because it was made for women it wouldn’t be so tall like typical truckers hats but unfortunately it’s made for larger heads. It made my ears flap down no matter how I put it on my head.

This is a hard hat to figure out. I really like the color combo and the shape of the hat is nice. Kind of a feminine trucker style that has more coverage than a baseball cap and a wider, shorter brim. However, the mesh part of the hat (essentially the back 2/3 of the hat) is a little stiff and the adjustable clasps seem a bit cheap and poorly constructed. I like a hat I can throw in a bag and not worry if it gets squished. I'm not sure this hat would hold up to that. The mesh section is an interesting idea from a cooling/comfort standpoint but I think Pistil needs to think about using a softer mesh fabric, not plastic.

I love the print on this hat, reminds me of my trips to Montana. I also like how the colors are subdued- many of the trucker hats are too bright. I've never tried the Pistil brand before but was impressed by the quality. I prefer my bills more curved so I take the bill of this hat and curl it up into the hat itself when I store it, but you can also use rubber bands to wrap it up if you like it more curved like a baseball cap.

This hat fits a little bit smaller than others I have. It also looks lighter online than it does in real life. I was a little bummed to see that it was a lot darker and some of the colors are a little different as well. I thought it I was getting a gray bill but it's really a grayish green. It's still cute but different and wasn't it super excited as I thought I was going to be.

The Pistil McKinley Cap is the exception where the picture on the computer screen looks better than the item in person. The "trucker" style cap and the odd color combination combined with the busy background print does not make the mountains stand out or even obvious. The rear of the cap is made of vented material and the band around the head is wide I'll assume for comfort. The adjustable strap in the back for size is the plastic type that snaps together, my head is rather small and the strap is adjusted at exactly mid point. If you have a larger head and/or very thick hair size could be an issue.
