These are great work boots as a plumber I'm on my feet all day, I've had them for five years I am now on my second pair.
Two things 1. is the insole it's kind of flimsy you just have to get a Dr Scholl's insole
2. For the price kind of wish Timberland would have a recycle program where you get some money off for turning in your old ones.

I walk on concrete all day and i am around metal and wooden skids. Great protection. The most comfortable boot I've ever had. I wear them when I ride my harley. I've purchased every boot you can think of and these are the best.

I wear them daily in industrial settings. My position of safety inspection, finds me many places. Outdoors, indoors, wherever the jobsites take me. For personal use, wherever my feet can take me. They are for steel toe surprisingly not heavy. Very comfortable to wear as an everyday footwear. I spent 2 weeks and 17 different types of boots before I knew which were right for me. What I dislike is they are apparently discontinued. A person with OCD tendencies, my tastes are discerning and particular, especially about having comfortable footwear. Timberland Pro Endurance 6", are by far superior to other boots in their price range and beyond. I have the pair I am currently using, in 19 days it will be time to replace them. Yet I cannot find them. Have they in fact been discontinued?

I'm in construction and on my feet all day, these are by far the best boots. Only boot I'll ever buy. Second pair only because I wanted another, my original 2.5 years and still going strong.

These are the only boots I wear any more. I have tried the more expensive, competitor's boots, not worth it. I have many colleagues and friends that will only wear these as well.

Got a pair of these after a recommendation from a co-worker and after going through countless other boots, these are perfect for work, probably the most comfortable boot I've ever worn, they also grip really well in snow and ice. Other work boots I've worn have made my feet feel squished and sore by the end of the day but these are a perfect fit, other boots I've gotten I have had to go a couple sizes up then normal because they just crushed my feet otherwise, but not these these are true to size and width at least in my experience. Yes they are heavy but I'm okay with that when it feels like you're walking on clouds...

I read 5 star reviews and I read 1 star reviews, in most cases the 1 star reviews were from people that purchased shoes on line and when the shoes arrived they wrote a review griping about how ill fitting the shoes were and they will never buy Timberland shoes again.
In my opinion, you can't purchase shoes on line the same as you'd purchase a De Walt drill on line, it can't be done.
I went to a local shoe store that specializes in steel toe work boots and asked for my normal size 11W shoe and when I tried them on it was horrible, very loose, very large, I asked for a 10.5 size and when I tried them on it rubbed against the back of my heel.... where have I read that before?
Then I asked for a size 10 in narrow and that pair almost fit perfectly..... When I entered the store, I had dress socks on and I purchased a pair of special wool heavy weight steel toe socks that the store sold and put them on and the shoes fit like a pair of shoes should, comfortable, no rubbing in the heel, no pinching my toes and no shifting sideways, the thick socks absorbed the feel of the hard leather I experienced and the shoes fit like a glove; (I gotta remember to write that review)
I wore the shoes out of the store to start the "break in period" thinking that I'd wear the shoes for an hour and switch to my old shoes, I was able to wear the shoes for the remainder of the day with no discomfort.
Had I ordered the shoes on line, I'd have ordered my normal size of 11W and I'd be posting a 1 star review shouting in my review not to buy Timberland shoes.
My advice to all readers is to buy your shoes locally, you will have the opportunity to try on different sizes with appropriate socks and you won't be frustrated or dissatisfied.
PS the store I purchased my shoes from price matched internet prices and I was able to find a much better price, which the store cashier matched, saving me about $30.00

My husband won't wear anything else for work. Not to mention they look good too. He says they're comfortable and hold up great. As an auto tech for over 30 years he knows what he's talking about!
He also has 2 casual style Timberland boots for home.
